I think a better article would have been about how journalism has gone down the toilet the past decade.
+10.
Or perhaps an article about how First Amendment rights have been slowly eroded by the government over the past decade.
What an utterly banal, useless piece of prose. This article reads like some Top Twenty by a pimple-faced attention-seeking dweeb on Digg.

Not unless you want to drop $500 every 2 years for battery replacement and transponder recertification.
Wow... They certainly don't talk about that in the TV commercials... 500 cookies every 720 days, not incl. Service costs. I suppose it's a quartz, not much to fiddle around with in there...

Is it me' or is there something off about the sub dial and datewheel fonts on this one?
Not sure what it is about the '12' is the datewheel, it looks very 'Asian-rep'-like...

A really great collection and representative of some of the finest franken pieces (reps with gen straps etc), I think we all start with big acquisitions of various pieces, but eventually settle on 3-6 really solid pieces we wear daily.
By the way, that 312 really is a special piece. Wear it well mate

Welcome! Anyone who's into Quantum Theory is welcome here!
At least we suspect you're welcome here, as we cannot know precisely if you really ARE here, or not.
Maybe we should send him through a double slit and see if he behaves as a light corpuscle or as a wave... At least that's what Young would do...
Welcome to the forum mate, men of science, reason and a penchant for watches are always welcome

These red bond subs are like the new Stradivarius... All these people caught a glimpse of Dr. Diver Bob making a killing in these tough financial times and chasing down some of grandad's old watches and hoping to make some cash.
-
When dressing, always ask yourself, "would James Bond do this"? Bond wouldn't. So don't!
Great advice

At first glance, it looked like a Tag. The dial design remind me of the older daytonas and Tags recently. Appropriate that it is in the Heritage line. Anyone know what the case size is? I think a rep would have a sunken dw problem.
The new A7753 reps should take care of the datewheel problem, and the cadesixe is 43mm excl. crown. Perfect size for everyday wear.

What a great doco, and most importantly, the acknowledgement by the watch dealer upon seeing the fake Nautilus for $300 that the Swiss watch makers really ARE taking the [censored] out of their customers... Great little doco, cheers for the link guys!

You've just got yourself on the Worldwide 'No - Ling' list... The B-Boys will have their eyes on you...

That's one of the funniest skits I've heard, He's a genius

Not a single Breitling, Stormtrooper?
Not even a Steelfish? Or a Navi? Or an Avenger? Montbrillant?
*shakes head* how can you call yourself a watch collector... Tsk tsk!

i finally got around to backing this record breaking kickstarter project. here's some q & a on the straps ...
Q: Is the watch strap replaceable?
A: Yes.
Q: What is the width of the armband? (I'm thinking of trying to throw a leather band on one of the LunaTik's for a more business-y look to wear to the office)
A: The strap width is 28mm.
Q: Does the strap size accommodate large wrists?
A: The straps comfortably accommodate 5" to 8.5" wrists with a couple notches to spare.
Q: How do I order a replacement strap?
A: Once we have our operations set up with a fulfillment partner we will arrange a way for customers to order replacement straps.
Tough times on the horizon for Wheaton... IPod wristwatch, Panerai 312... I feel for you my friend

Which forum is WC? I'm only on here, RG and RWI
Thanks, Dan!

nice patina...
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha great call

Something sporty, with a chronograph for timing. Will take a fair knock, as you'll be running around, but not overly big and distracting.
I'd say Tag Heuer Link, the epitome of sportiness. Remember, Jason Bourne wears a Link

Isn't it a bit paradoxal for a law professor to wear counterfeit articles? :-D
It's just as a smoking MD, no?
...or a sunbathing dermatologist, or a struggling aspiring musician who torrents music to find inspiration. The world is full of irony my friend )
Rolex Explorer sounds nice... But definitely not gold... Stainless Steel is wearable by everyone and doesn't draw unwanted attention... Except if it's a Breitling... )

Amy Winehouse - Do me good.
A B-Side off her first album 'Frank', a great fusion of slow beat-driven bass licks and her sexy sexy voice floating over the top...

The problem is that many songs use similar chord structures. The video is from a famous Australian musical comedy satire act who claim that most of the famous songs in the last couple of decades contain the same four chord sequence. It's hilarious

Never ending story.
RG Roo arrived today:
Is that superglue?
You must be f$&king joking... That is terrible!

Looks great! I really love that model but all the complications scare me off buying the rep. Looking forward to your pics and impressions.
I've had one now got almost a year and it's foolproof, just need to remember not to set the date at certain times, otherwise it's as reliable as a normal 7750
Great watch, GLWS!

Hands down the best Pam rep in recent history.. Not only 2010..
This..
Unless the GZ factories rush out the PAM 111 to end all PAM 111s, the 288 is hands down the winner as a total package.

Ups - why does the dial say :" regulateur & tourbillon"...???
Because this is a fantasy rep? I'd put every fancy sounding word on the dial too, because it makes it sound cool
Great looking watch, they're really milking this tourbillon design an producing some very nice pieces.

That thing is massive! Although it looks almost normal on Stallone:
