got my new Speedmaster today, far from perfect, but for the price very acceptable....i guess! Dial is nice, better than i thought, but the "sticker" around it is kind of crappy.... but all in all i'm happy with it, just have to switch the bracelet. sorry for the crappy pic! BBerry... funny, this is my second rep, and i have to say, excitement is much less intense than the first one....maybe because i fell in love on the way and that this is so much better than ANY watch in the world.... well....what do i buy now?? cheers

Well, it's not only a question of size (isn't it? )...it's more that i always thought that the metal bracelets are more visual than leather. it literaly blinks everywhere you go, and i don't like it...but it's just a question of taste, no doubt... I'm still waiting for the watch, getting kind of nervous, and on top of that, France is on strike, more or less, we don't know how it is going to be in the next weeks...vive la France....ou pas. Sick of waiting... i'm off to Germany for the weekend, maybe the mailman will make an effort on saturday have a nice weekend guys! cheers

I bought my first rep a month ago, and i'm so happy about it! (Longines) It has the same subdial story, well at least i thought, but after a while i realized that they ARE working, even though in a very strange way, but these little things are turning around in a complete freedom.... but they do! Even the date works, and it took 3 weeks for that! Now i have this beautifull working thing on my arm, and i can't stop looking at it. I even meet somebody today by complete coincidence with the very same watch, A GEN! I didn't have the time to ask him, but i was feeling kind of feverrish to touch it!! sounds weired...i know...

Hi all, a bit nostalgic about my Beijing trip in july, so i looked around in the net, and i just found the place where i got a really nice suit and perfect shirts! http://www.beijingtailor.com/ can't recommend them enough! It took them a week for the suit and 5 shirts...and i have to say, i got VERY used to tailored shirts now!! Impossible to wear something else now for work.... the suit was 150 euro and the shirts around 13 euro each!!! If you go to Beijing, don't hesitate a minute! cheers, (unfortunately no pics for the moment, can't find the charger of my camera...sorry!!)

Hi i just purchased my first Speedmaster, waiting and looking for the tracking infos every 5 god damn minutes.... but i allready know that i have to change the bracelet, i've never liked the metal bracelets. Looking for a nice leather band, for a reasonable price, any ideas? By the way, it was kind of an impulsive buy, on a very happy day, i stumbled over this, and i just bought it, without thinking at all! Is this actually an fantasy Speedmaster? I don't know the models very well... Well, wouldn't be a drama, was only 69 USdollars! Thanks for any ideas, and thanks for looking! cheers

well, they bought a rep, and they say: hey, it's not like the gen!!!! THIS IS DANGEROUS. (you have to know though, in Germany it's also dangerous to cross the street when the light is red and NO CAR IS AROUND FOR THE NEXT TEN MILES....because it's against the rules!!)

Great watch indeed! But i'm wondering.....am i the only one a little bit nervous about the inscription in the back? I've seen this a couple of days ago for the first time on a rep site, and honestly, i was a bit disturbed. I know, history is not sth that should come into this hobby thing, but this is a bit too much. Keller was a guy who in FEBRUARY 1945 assembled 16 men with him to destroy bridges and fight the russians, even if the war was allready certainly lost! So let's say he was on of these who fought until the f***g end for the nazis...let's remember, end of war was May 8th. I don't wanna be a jerk, but i think this is important to know before putting on this watch...

well, you were right, worked perfectly well! (not the buckle, forgot that this one had a single hole bracelet... ) But no i start do wonder if it was a good choice to take my old bracelet which i had for the last 5 years... and i can't really tell if the brown goes with black dial here.
