I never got scammed. I've never been stupid enough to ship anything of value to a complete stranger just because a forum full of people say " Oh he's a great guy ". I assisted in recovering personal info and posted it. Then got admonished for it. That's the inconsistency.

I live in Texas. I can shoot you just for pulling in my drive way. No questions asked when I call the police to have your body picked up. Not that I'm one of those gun fanatics, but a lot of people are.

That's a toughy. Even Andrews specials are $148. They are pretty good though for noob-mariners. I bought a ton of them when he use to sell them for $98. But they have actually improved in quality quite a bit from 2 years ago. Of course, better quality = more money. You will not be disappointed with anything that you buy from Andrew. He's the only TD I go with. Keep an eye out on the trade section also. A lot of cool dudes and most often the deals are pretty smooth. You'll definitely find some great bargains and a lot of custom works.

Maybe MD2020 is a jerk-off. Or, maybe his personal issues have severely screwed up his routine. Who knows. I have gathered together a spreadsheet to analyze and this is what I've come up with. There are a few that are still waiting. But, there are far more of you that have had a full turn around. None of you has gotten screwed. You either had your service performed and your watch returned or you've just gotten your watch back. Those are the facts. With all due respect to those still waiting, trends tell me you're going to get your service done or your property back. Settle Down and just wait it out. This thread once started as a concern and blown unnecessarily out of proportion. Many opinions have arisen including my unwanted ones. So many of you have chimed in and haven't even read the majority of this issue. I have read this entire thing multiple times. Not one single person has been robbed by MD2020.

Good idea. In fact, that's what you were supposed to do in the first place. When I finally chimed in I directed the message to MD2020 himself. I put forth my opinion on the matter to the actual person in question. Not one single person other than MD2020 did I direct this to. I could give a rats ass what you or anyone else thinks of my opinion. I've previously handled situations like this before. There's a couple members out there and a few threads that will prove it. Do some digging, you'll see.

Interesting perspective. I've been attentively reading this since it first showed up back at the end of August. I've read every single letter to the point of utter disgust and annoyance. I can't believe these are grown @ss men complaining like this. It's not hard to single out who are the cry Baby's. It's the same people over and over. It's also the same wise @sses who always have something negative to say. Trust me, I could name every single one of you and even pin point your rants and raves with precision throughout this entire forum. I've read that much. In fact, it's a project I've been working on with the help of a program I've developed. I'm going to call it " Tools & little Whiny girls". You'll be amazed at how often the same people pop up and are just miserable people through and through. I've been here for a few years and have always kept quiet. So, here we are nearly 6 weeks later, 23 pages and almost 500 posts and there still seems to be panties in a bunch. MD2020 has gone way out of his way. His one and only reply should have been " I'll get to it when I get to it. " " F-You, I've got a family and personal matters to take care of" " you want your $200 watch back, here you go and here's $50 to shut you the F-Up." Apparently, he's more skilled and much nicer than I. He doesn't owe any of you anything. You aren't entitled to anything except the service you agreed to. He shouldn't have to hold your hand all the way through a [censored] ant couple hundred dollar service charge. I'm Done and that's my $.02.

200 PM's a Day....... "Where's my watch?" "How's it coming along?" "To hell with your family and personal matters, is my watch done yet?" All that whining is enough to make a preacher infuriated. There's so much positive feedback about MD2020........ Who cares about his FB post. Go ahead, ask for your watch back. You'd probably be doing him a favor.

MD2020 : I'd say........ Screw the lot of the ones that require Baby sitting. You take care of your family. Any real watch smith, gun smith, knife smith, metal worker, mineral worker, precious stone worker, fabricator, ........ "TRADESMAN" would not put up with a customer who can't wait. Excellence takes time. I've had guns refinished. Cars restored. Rings made. Houses built and Boats built. Guess what ???!!!! I waited. Patiently. Even when there was a hundred thousand dollars or more put up front. I once waited 13 months for a simple iron fabricated front door to be made. Iron is everywhere. It's cheap. But it's the talent and workmanship that goes into it. You've got the market cornered. No one on this entire forum can hold a candle to your knowledge and talents. They can wait. There will always be business, and the 17 cry baby's certainly aren't going to break the bank. They'll be here maybe another year or two and then Vanish. I've said this before, if you are truly concerned about a few hundred dollars, you're in the wrong hobby. Man up or maybe you should try collecting Fast food toy watches that you get with your kids meals. You're wearing a Rolex. A PAM. An AP. A UN. A Vacheron Constatine or an Omega. Some of you can afford the Gens. Some of you cannot. You're wearing a Gentleman's watch. Act like one.

we could all just ship you Visa / MasterCard gift cards. Most them you can combine all into one to pay for expenses. It'll work until you can gather a permanent solution.

Interesting. I didn't even know that existed. I can't say that I agree in such a section being that this is a watch forum; but no wonder why we are having issues. I've contemplated upgrading my membership here a few times but with all the disconcerting reading I've done and the thought of joining 10 different payment sites just to do so, seems more of a headache. Why in the world doesn't "The Boss" just open up a simple merchant account ? File a DBA on some stupid business idea. Get your Tax ID number and there you have it. 2.3% (to the merchant account) later he can collect payments via credit card or dumb little $10-$50 prepaid. cards. I cannot believe this is even a problem. I as it stands can sit here all day, swipe a card or punch in any kind of credit card, debit card, or prepaid card right into my phone. Just because I made up some retarded business through the jerk offs at PayPal. They even sent me a card reader that plugs right into my phone. Come on guys, this is kindergarten stuff.

And that's going to accomplish what ? PayPal has made their decision. They don't change their mind. PayPal is absolute Garbage.

To hell with PayPal. There are so many better options out there.
