I don't mean to hi-jack this thread but I'm also wondering about the date wheel on the IWC Portuguese Automatic. I note they black face models have white date wheels when they should be black. I'd love to have mine changed also!

OK got QC Pic's and it looks like a gem! Sure the White date dial hurts a bit but I'll get over it. Wonder if that can be changed..

I ended up going for the black one, I'll just have to suck it up. I ordered from Perfect Clones so I'll let you know how I go and take some pics when it arrives.

How did you get on with this? I'm a big fan on the black myself but the only thing holding me back is the date wheel is white on the rep and black on the original.

Hi all, I'm having a genuine movement and double AR Crystal fitted to a white/blue 3714 by Nik. I've not ordered a replica before so I'm after some advice on watch straps to suit this particular watch. I tried a genuine 3714 on when in Hawaii and I thought it may of had a fastener rather than a buckle but I don't really remember. Would this be right as most I see look like they have a buckle? I'm looking for a nice high quality black leather band. I note there are a lot of threads mentioning watch straps but I don't know my straps/buckles/fasteners too well so I was hoping someone could tell me exactly what to replace it with? Thanks in advance
