  1. Factory got back to work today, they needed one final part for the diver that was to be ready today. So final assembly is supposed to be this week and delivery to Puretime after that. This is what Angus stated a couple of weeks ago. Pete
  2. I didn't know Uwe would superlume and AR a watch for $50? (that's the difference in price between V2 & 3)
  3. The buckle is thick and the sub is going nowhere.
  4. I've got the Sub V (new one) and love it
  5. I didn't know there was an issue?
  6. Once I got my 236 on my wrist, I knew it was a keeper. So I sent it to The Zigmeister to get a full service and relume. The watch is from the new batch that has a "too green" colour to the markers and numerals. The Zigmeister was great to deal with and I really appreciate him taking care of me Here are his comments about the watch (Remember this is a week old watch, which show the quality of assembly from the "factory"): Pam 236 1. Watch previously worked on - excessive silicone on caseback and stem - cleaned - correct amount applied (From when watch was QC'd and waterproofed by dealer) 2. dial lume - all markers and subdials painted with tritec reflective white paint - required to cover the green before luming dial lume C3 A+ hands lume C3 A+ 3. movement completely disassembled - reasonably clean, partially oiled - cleaned/inspected - cannon loose - fixed - some wear noticeable in mainplate stem bushing - likely cause no lube and not clean before installation - wear doesn't affect operation - hairspring not concentric in flat - fixed - beat and rate adjusted and timed 3 positions 4.Repaired centre transfer gear located in 30 min counter, had too much end shake. It was disengaging during reset. Dial washer added to take up slack. Tested Multiple times. Here are before and after pix as well as some lume shots (I have no idea how to take one properly). Natural light charges the dial like you would not believe. You find yourself staring at your watch in the shade because it lights up incredibly! Before After 5 second charge with pen light and photo taken on 'no flash' mode of my camera:
  7. The leather is given a carbon fibre look. I is very subtle in person. Peter
  8. The buckle is titanium. The buckle is thick which lends to it's presence. Thanks, Pete
  9. Thought I'd share what this combo looks like. I love it and have a hard time sharing wrist time with my other watches lately. Pete
  10. I started lurking on the forum in November and soon I can't help myself, I keep ordering more Pams! First I ordered Lay's best Pam 111 Soon, all I could think of were Pams, so I ordered a 236k, and have sent it off to the Zigmeister for a full service and proper lume... While waiting for the 236, I just had to order Saed's 112 Ultimate (Great AR, lume etc.. fixing all the shortcomings of a stock rep Pam like my 111) All of a sudden, the Pam 288 came out and I had to have it with the genuine croc strap... Now the Pam 177 came out, so I am hitting refresh, waiting for it to hit my shores, so I can get my next hit....
  11. I ordered the 177 on the 20th and just got the QC pix today. Supposedly the Ti Buckle was the hold up (waiting on more of them).
  12. Hi I just got the rep bug a couple of months ago and found this great forum. So far, in 2 months, I'm up to seven reps thanks to all the reading I've been doing here. I've learned a lot and my wallet has taken a beating thanks to you guys! Cheers, Pete
  13. I have decided to get all my 7750's, 7753 and A07.211 torn down, bathed and serviced. I hope to do I a month on all my keepers so hopefully they will last a while.
