  1. I thought I'd share my full lineup after being here for 6 months. 5 reps and 1 gen. At this rate, f I'm not careful I'll be at a dozen by the end of the year! These frankens are all so good that it's impossible to tell which the gen is! Thanks to everyone that helped make it happen.
  2. I'll defer to the experts, but I can barely make something out under the balance wheel?
  3. Awesome story...and a happy ending. Congrats and wear it well. Both sellers are true gentlemen.
  4. I have an iPad and use Tapatalk occasionally. Post a link to the review in question.
  5. Thanks Gran. I'm assuming you're pointing out that one's a bit shorter than the other? BTW, all pics I've seen have a display case back. Is this what everyone's getting?
  6. Here are my QC pics. I didn't think these had a solid caseback. What do you think?
  7. Care to elaborate. Is the inner bezel ring thicker?
  8. I was afraid someone would tell me to get both. *sigh* I have to resist that urge. I have a newly acquired 6 Watch Box and a single watch winder. In fact, I'm cancelling my PAM318 order and replacing it with a PP. And no--the solution is NOT getting a larger Watch Box.
  9. As a general rule, I only buy from people who have feedback. Yes, we all had zero feedback at some point, but I feel that noobs (like me) need to purchase something before selling or trading in order to get feedback for any future transaction. There is no real mechanism for verification of one's identity (should a sale go south) if no transaction has been made prior to this. One needs to donate to the board, purchase from another member or list references of trusted members they've dealt with. When I break this rule (and sometimes I do), I know I'm taking a calculated risk and it's one I'm willing to walk away from if I get burned. Sh*t happens. We've all been scammed before but it makes us all the wiser! On that note, if you've had a transaction with me, please give me feedback. You know who you are!
  10. What do you do for a living again? These are truly awesome looking shoes mate. I thought spending 400USD on a pair was a lot. I'll be waiting for the rep of these.
  11. This guy???? http://www.rwgforum.com/user/31624-dr-strangelove/ He's got ZERO posts!!!
  12. I like the Nautilus too, but a gen costs 20K+!!! Realistically speaking, I'm not sure I can pull that off. 10K--yeah, no problem, but the Nautilus is a big boy watch. Do members have these types of concerns or am I just paranoid?
  13. So which of the two would you get? Which is closer to the genuine article? Calatrava'S PP Nautilus Sql_pl's PP Aquanaut
  14. Been looking at these watches for a while and feel that PP is one that I need to add to my collection. Before I joined this forum, I couldn't for the life of me understand why anyone would spend *good money* on one of these. I felt the same way about PAMs. Let's just say that PPs have grown on me A LOT! I also like the fact that PP appears to be underrated in the rep world. I'd like to join the handful of gentlemen with exquisite taste in timepieces. The only criteria is that it be a really good rep.
  15. 377.21USD from my AD. They can be had for 350-400USD on the bay.
  16. For the short time I've been on here, you've been immensely helpful. Thanks for everything!
  17. OP's photo has no day and is likely just a fantasy model. Although it sorta resembles the Slevin, I'd steer clear unless it's free.
  18. Not a fan of HDR photography, but cool nonetheless.
  19. Wish I had lots of spare cash...I'd buy ALLLL of them and sell it for ONE MILLLLIIONNN DOLLLARSS!!! MuhaHahaHAHAAA!
