  1. Yeah, I wanna know too...
  2. +1 Although it sucks bad and I'd be F'in PO'd, you really need to take a deep breath... ..
  3. I know. That's why your measurements threw me for a loop. I got the 7733 on the bay. It was sold with a missing balance wheel spring, but I only needed a few parts to get my 7734 fully functional.
  4. @LHOOQ--can't the 8000/3 be found on 7733s as well as 7734s. I received a 7733 with a 45min counter and just measured the chronograph runner with my caliper. It's measuring at 8.24mm. The 7733 movement came disassembled, so I guess it could've been swapped. @redwatch--any word from your retailer?
  5. That's one nice looking watch! Can't wait till bk's done with mine. If you don't have any by then, I'll send you some links.
  6. 0.9mm 7734 stem taps ordered. So now on to the case clamps...surely, krpster and I aren't the only ones to install a Valjoux 7734 on a DW 7032.
  7. LOL. I quite fancy this...nice departure from the norm.
  8. Ok, my donor was held the same way--no case clamps or screws, so I'm gonna need those too. Looks like this might the same stem: http://cgi.ebay.com/Valjoux-7732-7733-7734-7736-winding-stems-new-tap-0-90-/270721362126?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_2&hash=item3f084028ce
  9. So I had initially planned to send this off to get "professionally" installed, but after playing around with A7750s a bit, I figured I'd grow some balls and give this a shot...after all, it was merely a transplant. So here's what I started with: DW 7032 case-set Vintage Watch with Valjoux 7734 for transplant YUKI hands (en route) DONOR WATCH Caseback opened Movement removed Donor dial and hands removed Now ready for 7032 caseset...TO BE CONTINUED Not sure if I'll get a gen crystal yet, but here's my problem...I've got the new dial on the movement, but the stem from the transplant appears to be too fat for the DW crown. What stem do I need and where can I get it? I'll update this thread with pics of my progress, so other noobs like me can learn from my mistakes.
  10. I'm sure we were watching the same used mesh. Snipe was even in place. You'll be happy to know that I don't need two. Good luck. I'll post pics once I get mine.
  11. That's some self control!!! Wait a sec...didn't you tell me to get a Breitling instead of a PAM??
  12. Oh, it has mods. One of our gracious members had pity on me and sold me his with a gen mesh strap, Zigmeister-lumed dial/hands with a gen serviced Hamilton 2824-2 installed by Zigmeister. It will be another PERFECT SOH!!!
  13. This makes me want to try this out. Maybe I can service my own A7750 watch.
  14. stunning...thanks for sharing.
  15. I'm so excited. I have a Black SOH v2 Swiss ETA en route. @krpster--where'd you get the gen ocean racer strap?
  16. That seems inconsistent with what's on the ebay listing. I hope it works though. While we're on the subject of 7032s, where can I get a good bracelet?
  17. Pics are too small to tell, but it appears gen.
  18. I gotta stay away from this thread or else seafoam is gonna make me buy one of these!
  19. Wow, that was fast!!! Arrived today. Thanks blackbard.
  20. I love this watch. Thanks for sharing. If anyone wants to get rid of their V2, let me know.
