Wow, I don't know if I'd have the patience to do that! Congrats on the mods. Besides the one I saw on here with gen parts, yours is as good as it gets.
Wow, I was about to list my 3714-38 for sale, buuuuut I think I'll hold on to it now.
Nik--this announcement only pertains to the Portuguese right? You'll still make and supply pilots, correct? If the 5001 is offered, I'll be the first in line for that!
From what I've read, those ebay non OEM Cartier straps (like the one in your link) are crap. Was advised not to even waste my money on one of them. If you do decide to get one, post some pics and give us your assessment.

AFAIK, watches can come from several different factories. If available, the dealers are able to source the watch you want. In 'most cases', that particular watch will come from the same factory irrespective of which dealer you use.
Ahh...dead links to the old domain. Do the following:
-replace http://www.rwg.cc/members with http://www.rwgforum.com
Here is one of the links fixed: http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/22690-iwc-mark-xv-special-pictorial-review/page__hl__pictorial
Thanks for all the compliments.
Although it'll be tough, I'm planning to acquire no more than 7 or 8 tops. 6 in watchbox, 1 in winder and 1 on wrist. Makes sense right? LOL!
With a couple builds in progress, I'm probably going to have to let some of these beauties go. Who am I fooling...let's see what happens on Dec 5th.
P.S. The gen is the TAG CAF2010 Aquaracer Chrono. Not sure how Wimpie or iceberg could tell.
P.S.S. Only time will tell if The Rainer Watch Box was the best investment ever or not (to help me regulate my spending)
