  1. Well said. I don't have the full picture (yet), but based on what you've stated, it is *not* cool. Hacker...pls don't DDoS me!
  2. Great review Gran! Besides the dial, how do these compare to the MBK Nautilus? I've heard the fit and finish of the MBK PPs are unmatched.
  3. Wow, I don't know if I'd have the patience to do that! Congrats on the mods. Besides the one I saw on here with gen parts, yours is as good as it gets.
  4. Very nice indeed. This watch exudes sophistication at its finest! From to
  5. I'm with Freddy. Can't live without my Firefox extensions.
  6. Wow, I was about to list my 3714-38 for sale, buuuuut I think I'll hold on to it now. Nik--this announcement only pertains to the Portuguese right? You'll still make and supply pilots, correct? If the 5001 is offered, I'll be the first in line for that!
  7. Did not know this either. Good info.
  8. That's pretty slick! How did I miss this dial when it was for sale?!?
  9. I think the OP means it's assembled with gen parts.
  10. Precisely what I did and intend to enforce. Ask me again in 6 months...
  11. Wow LHOOQ, you've outdone yourself! You're my hero!
  12. From what I've read, those ebay non OEM Cartier straps (like the one in your link) are crap. Was advised not to even waste my money on one of them. If you do decide to get one, post some pics and give us your assessment.
  13. Mary at Watch-Internation: http://www.rwgforum.com/forum/240-watch-international/ AFAIK, watches can come from several different factories. If available, the dealers are able to source the watch you want. In 'most cases', that particular watch will come from the same factory irrespective of which dealer you use.
  14. Now, that's what I call a beauty! I wonder how far it drifted from the branch.
  15. I know Andrew and Mary do also.
  16. LMAO!!! Best read in ages! Thanks for making me laugh (not at you, but the situation). It's all too familiar! P.S. You must be an engineer.
  17. Ahh...dead links to the old domain. Do the following: -replace http://www.rwg.cc/members with http://www.rwgforum.com Here is one of the links fixed: http://www.rwgforum.com/topic/22690-iwc-mark-xv-special-pictorial-review/page__hl__pictorial
  18. At one point, didn't the rules allow for this? At any rate, this is clearly no longer the case and I tend to agree with the OP.
  19. Thanks for all the compliments. Although it'll be tough, I'm planning to acquire no more than 7 or 8 tops. 6 in watchbox, 1 in winder and 1 on wrist. Makes sense right? LOL! With a couple builds in progress, I'm probably going to have to let some of these beauties go. Who am I fooling...let's see what happens on Dec 5th. P.S. The gen is the TAG CAF2010 Aquaracer Chrono. Not sure how Wimpie or iceberg could tell. P.S.S. Only time will tell if The Rainer Watch Box was the best investment ever or not (to help me regulate my spending)
  20. Can you rephrase what you're having problems with and what you're trying to do? P.S. Welcome to the fora!!!
  21. W--You're gonna make me get a kevlar too! Where did u get yours? The AD? My Santos came with an ETA 2824...did yours come with the same or an asian movement?
  22. Love the look. Looks like the kevlar strap? Wear it well.
