  1. @Faster897 Don't be discouraged by the lack of response to your helpful attempt at this guide. It is appreciated a lot more than you know. Most people here cruise around checking out all the new stuff, and don't take the time to comment. That doesn't mean it's not helpful buddy.

Remember these are fakes. They're cheap and mass produced but oh so close to the real thing. If you find something you love and it has a cosmetic flaw, there are lots of ways to deal with it. Get another dial? Or send it out to one of our modders and have them relume it the right way. I've done that several times and the artists we have walking the halls of RWG can just about do magic.

Stick around! Be an active presence here! Stir up activity and post stuff... set that example to prod other people to do it too. Sharing knowledge is why we're here. :tu:

  2. Yep, Madas is one of the old timers.  Hover your mouse pointer over his name in his posts and in your status bar you'll see he's member #411.  He was here literally from day one when we migrated over from the sinking ship that was our first RWG.

This gentleman represents the best of RWG.  We have a few guys that have been here since the beginning and they bring their skill, passion and gentlemanly approach to everything they touch.  It's much appreciated to see them still around.

  3. 1 hour ago, automatico said:

The Ray Bans stuck in my nose after the pavement ground through a new Arai helmet...and my forehead.  I started wearing plastic Frogskins on MC after that.

It only hurts now when I stand up.

Haaaaaaaaa!!  Love it.  :tu:  Are you sure you're not Alaskan?

  4. Don't give up hope. Two years is not unusual and in the end it is worth it. It's worth waiting and hunting for.

Sometimes when we have to wait and hope and pray for something to happen, and then it does happen, it makes the final outcome all the better.

But not always. I learned a very hard lesson in a situation like this and it made me reexamine everything about lusting after something, and in the end when I had it in my hands, I was ashamed for the misplaced lust... I'd lost out on something far, far more important.

In the end these are just watches. People are far more important. Never forget that.

  5. ...put new center links with rounded tops on each end where it connects to the spring bars, it came with 'figure 8' end links.

That's what I'm wanting, a source for those round top center links. I can take one out of a donor Yuki Rivet band that's being sacrificed for parts, but I'd rather not.
