  1. So I somehow managed to run over my laptop with may car (stone sober I swear), and put a 2 inch crack in the screen. I went and purchased a new laptop already but I am planning on putting the cracked on on Ebay.

I am trying to find a way to adjust the usable portion of my display. The entire right 2 inches of my display are dead so I would like to "turn them off" so that the entire background fits within the working portion of the display.

If anyone here has any ideas for me, I sure would appreciate it.

  2. Well mine finally came today. Special delivery, express from China.

I was a little surprised by the size of the box, much smaller than I had anticipated.

I also noticed that the whole package was very poorly put together.

As i unwrapped the bubble wrap this is what i saw...

(I don't have my digital camera today so i used my Phone. I know the picture sucks, so please spare me the criticism for it.)

not only is the crystal shattered beyond recognition, there are no pushers for the chrono functions, just stems.

I have had it, its been two months and this is beyond frustrating. I wish you all the best of luck, this one just isn't going to happen for me

Ps. Looks like nice AR on the crystal shards

  3. I have been looking to do some vintaging/vintagizing/vintagerizering to my Fiddy and Haven't had much luck looking for good picture of distressed Pams.

    So.. :whistling:

Anybody got some? I want my fiddy to look like it was brought back from WWII :black_eye: so i am looking for beat up watches to see what sort of wear is accumulated over 50+ years.

    ... this should be fun

  4. If I won (and Ill be playing)

1st : Cousteau, though id pick the HBB if it were the black magic

    2nd: IWC gst ti

    3rd: anything

TWP - you have THE best raffles and I have a hard time choking up the funds for some of these super reps, but I love the chance to win one.

    Bravo! :tu:

  5. I never indicated that any of this was Sash's fault, nor that there was any problem to begin with. Simply that this whole thing has taken longer than I anticipated.

I agree, sash has always been great

@littleme - I don't know anything you do not. Simply that sash said "This is just bad"

This statement indicated to me, perhaps unwarranted, that there was an issue with the shipment. I have not bothered to check my EMS in the past few days as I've never known it to be accurate.

Though I didn't know that you could put the same number in USPS's site
