So many watches...so little time. How can that be? When I was making 200k a year, I could never pull myself away from the allure of owning many fantastic watches or just one gen. Now that I'm disabled and have sold almost all my watches This is the one I've held on to. Funny , as I never regarded Rolex as my choice watch. Panerai was my first pick.still is. I get many compliments on This tt GMT, and I do like it. Save your money my friends, as you never know when a serious matter might be at hand .

Happy Labor Day, to all Americans, and by osmosis, the same to all of you hard working RWG folks worldwide. Labor is good. Especially for our club here and those industrious watch makers in the far east. Bless their souls. RWG is a truly warm and wonderful place. It has cost me money, but hey, it's ahabit that wont give you cancer, or make your colon fall out!!

Name your sex life/organ with a movie title!

Woe to thee down wind when my volcanic erection spews forth copious amounts of shmegma to leap forth and glaze the eyes and nostrils of those wenches in the path of the creamy, man gravy rapids . Aww man.... Jimmy Stewart never said anything remotely close to this comment. Still, I saw him giving me the thumbs up. -
As a child of the 60's, it is not easy to dismiss the great musical influences that shaped the lives of those who were not only there, but by osmosis discovered the beauty of the song, The Beatles, The Who, and for this topic, The greatest Rock and Roll Band, The Rolling Stones, These British musicians have defined rock and roll as no other band has. It defies logic to attempt to verbalize how profoundly awesome the Rolling Stones have been throughout their existence. The Stones are the essence of rock and roll.

The passing of James Gandolfini is sad indeed. The Sopranos was one my fav shows of all time. I have all the seasons. They are somewhat painful to watch now, but still excellent. Tony will always be around. I have some good news. The colonoscopy factory run by Depak Desai, trial ended last week with him being convicted of murder. Thousands were infected with the hep c virus and many have died or are on their way. I have been so sick lately. Although I try to put on a good front, it doesn't work. Thank you guys again for your concern and goodwill. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

Sunny Sunday wristies........................
hambone replied to sgtguk's topic in General Discussion
Is it Sunday in June? The temp today in LV was 117. That is a good reason to stay indoors. I walked to the pharmacy and nearly passed out. -
I had the good fortune to meet and sell Mr Gandolfini in Caesars years ago. When such a larger than life guy dies of a heart attack who is younger than yourself, it makes you question the fairness of Karma and life in general. Jimmy G was a great human being. I know this because I knew him personally.

While Hublot is a damn good looking timepiece, so is Cartier, Patek Phillipe Chanel, IWC, Bvlgari, Franck Muller, Graham, and many others.... Some of these brands I have purchased, but when push comes to shove, Panerai, Rolex, Omega, are the time pieces IMO that stand out. The Hublot I bought 6 years ago was the most expensive rep I ever purchased, Do I still have it? No. I think Thomas and the Admin team have done more than a superb job to accommodate our interests. To me, there is nothing wrong with pooling the aforementioned watches into the "Other" category" There are simply to many watches out there to make space for another brand. A cursory review of the wrist shots, bears that out. Be safe my friends.

SSteel, My Poppa was born in Nykarleby Finland, We still have a farm and beach house there. My family only speaks Svenska. It is a beautiful country. The whole of it resembles a national park. I love reindeer with lingonberries , Also that dessert with cheese and cloud berries on top. I cannot get that here. -
While the 175 lbs pooch seems like a Great Dane/Black Labrador, she was found imbedded in the ice in Antarctica, while I was training penguins to fly. She can fly, however the penguins at last writing cannot...

1680, that reply took time, and should be a sticky. Seems like there are many out there who were dropped on their heads while infants.

Hey, we all collect counterfeit watches, so if that is not pretending to be something more than what you are , what is? I am guilty of this, and there was a time I could afford gen watches and bought a couple, but the allure of this hobby is powerful. We all love it ! Besides , the people here, by and large are far more likable than the guys at the Gen forums. Getting worked up over a hot head is a waste of energy as I said , Z, fur whatever his reasons feels slighted. He is not going to do anything more than hurt himself.

Yes! Go forward with confidence.
