  5. Back in 1875 the condiment mayonaiise was introduced to the Country of Mexico. The food and sandwich enhancer became a beloved staple for the Mexican people. The Hellmans Mayonaiise Co. Of England regularly sent their product to the vastly growing demand to our southern neighbor. In 1912, the largest order of Hellmans Mayonaiise Was slated to be shipped , and the People of Mexico were excitedly anticipating the arrival of their favorite condiment The huge shipment left Southampton, England in early April, 1912, aboard the ill fated Titanic. and was lost along with 2000 people and 4000 cases of sardines. Mexicans mourned the loss deeply of the Hellmans, and Procaimed the date of the loss as a national day of remembrance . The holiday has been named for the past 100 years, " Sinko De Mayo"..
  6. I have been struggling about whether or not I should disclose What's going on with me, as I have told no one other than a few family members, not even my adult son and daughter. Remembering how supportive you all were during the traumatic time with my Dad, (he is doing ok, except for the Alcoholic dementia) , and I decided to reach out again. Thank you for you words of support. As many have said in this forum, there seem to be better people here than in the Everyday world we live in. Sent from my tent in Bangladesh .

Thanks for this post Zelini.! Having seen many documentaries on North Korea, and this one is the best. Very illuminating, and a bit sad to see the oppressive lives people have in DPRK. I could not help but think that their whack job leader seems to be on a path of self destruction, and it won't be him killed in a conflict, but all those children and misguided souls who are fed lie upon lie, when what they need is just to be fed.!there are no obese people in NK. Except for their 'Dear Leader' . Sent from my tent in Bangladesh .

  17. In 2007 I was invited by a Chinese pharmaceutical tycoon I met In Caesars where I worked to go to China and promote noted Chinese artists in America. He turned out to be a trickster , albeit a wealthy one. That other nasty fellow, Chairman Mao, in his little red book of quotes said " no man is complete until he stands on the Great Wall " Having been there, see photo, it is a try awesome masterpiece Of antiquity construction. As you can see, I'm the only guy on the wall as it was December or else everyone was eating lunch. This attraction comes with the Hambone seal of approval.

  21. Licking is effective. So is a straw. For best results drop the watch into a gallon of Vodka/Tonic, use your straw till bone dry, whip out your Black&Decker belt sander with a shammy attached, test the shine power on your nose, then have at it On the watch. You should be feeling a warm glow , just like your clean watch. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk By Golly I Must Say!

  24. Nanuq, I was raised in Hawaii. My first gallery was across from the Illikai Hotel. I pretty much spent my teens and twenties in Waikiki. Kept a surfboard at the Moana and would hit the waves at sunset. Great memories. I found my wife there, and picked up so many chicks I Lost count. Enjoy your stay. Last time in the islands I stayed at the Hawaii Prince. Aloha Ka Koe
