@ DavidSen
If you really go for PVD, you have to change the back....
The Luminor Base dial needs an A or B-series back (you show us a C)
The Marina Militare needs a totally different one.
I´d go for the PVD Base dial with an A-series back! (PAM009)

This is sooo damn true.
My $$$$ go to the first best offer.........but I was promised a piece in about 3-4 weeks time.
Again, the hardest part begins, WAITING. Thx god I have some other watches in the mail and on the way to shorten this wait.

Thanks finepics, that was exactly what I was thinking of, will get the dial from my 005 base out .
ANOTHER Q: did you put the lume on the "under-dial" very thick and after some 1/2 hour fix both dial parts together to get this 3-D lume effect with slighly sunken in color???
Best wishes,

@finepics
Thats awesome watch, good work on that, KUDOS!
May I ask you one question:
How did you scale the dial down from 35,25 to 34mm?????
I just received a MM-dial yesterday to use for my PVD coated Base...like to do a good job too, so any help will be appriciated.
THX,

Go and give BOB a chance:
He is a good guy and has awsome prices with outstanding quality.

Of course you can easily see and feel the difference, but have to have it in your hands.
The asian movement allows the GMT-hand to set the GMT time smooth and easy with.
The swiss ETA movement sets the GMT-hand by jumping in 1-hour steps, the GMT-hand will allways equal the normel minutes shown with the minutes hands. So minute hand and GMT-hand are coordinated, on the asian movement you can set the time only correct when showing the full hour.
Hard to explain, hope I come through to you.
Cheers,
Theo
