  1. The laser crown looks bigger than in other reps. I haven't seen a pic of the genuine. BTW it's perfectly centered over the six position and you hardly see it without a magnifying glass. About 40,1 It is.
  2. If BK says it's very nice we can say we have a winner with this beauty
  3. Just received mine and it's an incredible rep!! The best Rolex rep out-of-the-box I've ever seen. Not conical rehaut. It only needs some working in the CGs and a gen insert... or maybe just the gen pearl.
  4. I know and understand you. I only wanted to be respectful with the people that are working on this project. We've just looked at pics of a prototype. Let's wait for the final version. Only that. I agree. The SFSO is the best rep I owe and I love it but it's not perfect. The date font and the lume are the only issues. I ordered from Tritec a C3 kit and a C1 kit and paid less than 60 EUR. With this quantity of pigment you can superlume a lot of dials and pearls. Why didn't they chose to increase a little the prize of the SFSO but making it perfect? We can't understand it buy maybe there's a reason. I only want to say that we're very demanding with the Rolex reps and not so with others.
  5. I think this is subjective and we aren't being just. Neither the UPO nor the SFSO nor the Aquaracer are perfect. In my opinion they are 90% near the genuines. Not enough AR, bad date font, incorrect crowns, bad pearls, etc. They're great reps but not perfect. There are a lot of myths in our hobby. The UPO needs some gen parts to be a 1-1 rep (I sold mine after seeing a gen because the lack of AR disturbed me a lot). The same in the case of the SFSO. I had a Aquaracer in my hands last friday and the date font alligment is ugly. In the case of Rolex reps, we're more demanding than we're with the other brands. If this one wasn't a SD rep and it was another Omega model rep, we'd be delighted. But it's a Rolex!!! We need the perfection. Come on, guys! This is a great watch or so looks. Wait for the first reviews and, please, don't send the work of a lot of people to the rubbish without giving them a chance. I'll post pics as soon as my Angus' SD arrives. If it's a shitty rep, then, please, be free and criticize it.
  6. Left: Genuine 14060M Right: Noobmariner 16610 LV
  7. mmmmmmmm... quite fine!!! anyone else wants to give opinions?
  8. OK. I edit the topic's title. I only meant "no commnent" by myself. I wanted to create this topic as a game, showing pics of a pair of dials to you. My intention btw was not foolong you in any way. Just wanted you to identify the dials. Do you play? Two dials: Gen or rep? Models? Cheers, Carlos
  9. PM me asking about the part you're interested. The dial is a genuine white "submariner" font dial, refinished and repainted in red.
  10. Come on, guys. Need your help. Experts, please, give me your feedback
  11. As some of you know, I'm working in two franken-projects: a 1680 (based in a MBW1680) and a 14060M (based in a MBW 16610). I've bought some "genuine" parts and I need to know your feedback about them. Are they really genuine? Are they the correct parts for my projects? Three crowns. Are they genuine? For what models? Crown 1. I'm not an expert but this one looks to me a gen triplock: Crown 2. It looks a vintage model but I don't know what model is, what tube it needs and for watch models can fix: Crown 3. The crown looks OK but I can't iddentify it. Maybe a gen crown in a rep tube?: And a tube: Bezel and insert for a 1680: Bezel for a 16610. Will it be correct for a 14060M? Will I be able to put this one in a MBW 16610 case?: Springbars: A 1680 dial. The seller told me it's a genuine dial refinished. I think it could be a white one version painting now in red: A 127: I've bough too a genuine 14060M dial in mint condition. I'm sure this one is genuine. Thanks for your help and opinions. Un abrazo, Carlos
  12. Hi, once more time I need the help of the Rolex experts. I've found a genuine 14060M dial in perfect condition and I haven't been able to resist. So now I'm trying to make a franken 14060M from a MBW16610 and some genuine parts I've been collecting during last weeks. My problem now is the crystal. How can I get a good sapphire for the MBW case that look correct for a 14060M? Is there any easy way to remove the cyclops from the 16610 crystal without damaging it? I've search a lot but couldn't reply my own question by myself. Any link to an old topic I've lost? Thanks, guys.
  13. What about the MBW version of Paso? Is the Noob better than the MBW?
  14. I've got about 30 reps and gens in my collection so I don't user to wear the same watch for too much time, but none of them is TT and this one is for my father. OK. I'll ask my dealers. Thanks, Carl
  15. "14K Wrapped gold" in some of the Andrew's subs. This one looks to be the best he's selling (here) "18K Gold Thick Plated (5 mils)" in others (here). What do you think? I'm just thinking in buying a good TT Rolex rep for my father. What do you recommend me? How is the gold in the Paso's MBWs? Thanks for your help.
  16. I've got a vintage genuine crown that I'm not going to use. If someone is interested, please, PM
  17. It's just for fun, Trib. For my "seriuos" projects, Vaccum'll do it, before sending the watch for modding Johel's the best "lumer"
  18. No. Sorry. One of our dealers. His words were "the GMT ceramic is in production just now". I don't how long does it take since production starts till it's for sale.
  19. What about the new BG W9? It looks like similar to C1 but very brighter.
