I just got apparently genuine 702 tube (no reason to doubt, although no gen package)and it seems that the 702 crown I thought was genuine, doesn't fit... Namely, I had an aftermarket 702 tube and the match was perfect. Only now I understood that the crown (stem part) will not fit through the serrated part of the tube. Something is not genuine here it seems...? I could drill the serrated part after installation though. Thoughts? Alternatively, anyone has a 702 crown he wants to part...? Kurt? Jojo? Anyone? I have the same combo and I can tell you that Clark's pearl looks nothing close to the real deal. Wrong outside shape, wrong shape of the hole and comes filled with white lume. Dean

I think we're not talking the same o-ring. There is a place for one under the crystal lip, not under the retaining ring which is roughly the size of the caseback one.

Just finished modding my new MBK DRSD, while at it, i discovered something strange...namely, there is a groove in the case around the base of the crystal...and not the one under the retaining ring! A wild guess would be that an o-ring strategically placed right there, before pressing the crystal/ret. ring would do wonders for water resistance. Any insights into this? I attached a pic that i shamelessly stole from one of ubi's threads. Chime in guys... Thanks, Dean

I also got rep one from timeshops, which is the same as Josh offers - that one is super extra long, fairly thin and with about 1cm of adjustment. Inadequate for my 7" wrist. Money lost...
