I recently purchased a Clark 125 and the date mag seems to be 3x or larger. Does anybody else sell aftermarket Cyclope 125 crystals?
-
Who cares? If idiots want to bid on crap like that from sellers like that, then let them! I certainly don't get eBay Bucks for alerting eBay.
-
The beauty of a removable bezel is that you can make it bling one day and demure the other.
-
-
The seller swapped out the better 3135 for a 3035. Nothing else to say.
-
I like his choices, just for the fact that I own #2 as well as #3's counter-part (GMT Master II).
Seiko!

It just means women are attracted to Rolexes! So guys, want help pulling a good looking women? Wear a Rolex!!!
And, if you have a small penis, wear a Hublot or Panerai and drive a Hummer.

Wow big typo 1000 lol sorry!!!!

Holy Franken! A 16030 two-tone with a 1570 movement and a newer dial? You payed wayyyyy too much! A 16030 should be all stainless steel with engine-turned bezel and 3035 quick-set movement. A two-tone would be the 16013 with 3035 as well. Your watch was made from 3 different DateJust eras: 1960 (bracelet), 1970 (movement) and 1980 (case, bezel, dial). For under $2k, you could've gotten an original 16030.

Do these 558 look genuine? The font seems a little too big.

Thanks for all of the nice comments. I have the 2892 regulated to +2s/week.

Can you post a link of the watch that you got from Silix so we can determine what movement it's using. This fix could be an easy one that you could do yourself.

I need a clasp pin for gen 93150 that will complete mine, they are hard to come by.
What does it look like?
-
I think it is only that bad in the Picture.
The Bracelet does not have any big stretching and is in overall good Condition.
I will post it up for Sale with new Pics.
Cheers
R.
No. It's because the clasp part with the engravings, and probably the whole claps itself, is a Franken. That is not a gen clasp! The engravings should be a combination of stamped (REGISTERED SWISS MADE, STEELINOX) and etched (93150, G). Additionally, your bracelet date code "G" is missing a number to indicate it's month of construction.
Wow. 2009 post. I guess I'm too late.

The original owners found out what the repair costs would be from Rolex, so they decided to flush them down the loo!
-
I gave you my points, JKay.
-
But it /was/ appropriate.
This is without a doubt the most absurd complaint I have ever heard.
Drop to your knees and thank your maker that this community has people like Concepta. I have never bought one of his pieces and probably never will but I know what someone whom I should admire looks like.
-
If Concepta has no problem with Texski, why should I?
It's called being an adult.
Btw; when you shout "lulz" is that a signal for your mother to bring more hot pockets to the basement? Just curious, since it could also be a sign to your male nurse that you need more meds.
This last comment of your's isn't "adult."
-
I think he is happy that Concepta and Texski have put aside their differences and now work together. I'm sure it's win/win for all involved.
Funny how things work out. Funny how things don't work out.
I want to find the post of the guy that trashed Texski when Texski was calling out Concepta. I betcha that guy is now all smoochy-woochy with Texski. LOL
Actually, I think that was you Jkay! LULZ!!!!!!!!!!

or you can buy it on craigs list for $1500.
Look again. It's not a vintage piece and certainly worth well over $1500. It's a Rolex 115200.
-
Submerse the case in boiling hot water for 10 minutes. This will loosen the epoxy. Applying heat directly or otherwise can and may discolour your case.

Saving up for that Rolex so badly wanted. Smart guy.
