  1. Holy Franken! A 16030 two-tone with a 1570 movement and a newer dial? You payed wayyyyy too much! A 16030 should be all stainless steel with engine-turned bezel and 3035 quick-set movement. A two-tone would be the 16013 with 3035 as well. Your watch was made from 3 different DateJust eras: 1960 (bracelet), 1970 (movement) and 1980 (case, bezel, dial). For under $2k, you could've gotten an original 16030.

  2. I think it is only that bad in the Picture.

The Bracelet does not have any big stretching and is in overall good Condition.

I will post it up for Sale with new Pics. smile.gif

    Cheers

No. It's because the clasp part with the engravings, and probably the whole claps itself, is a Franken. That is not a gen clasp! The engravings should be a combination of stamped (REGISTERED SWISS MADE, STEELINOX) and etched (93150, G). Additionally, your bracelet date code "G" is missing a number to indicate it's month of construction.

Wow. 2009 post. I guess I'm too late.

  3. I think he is happy that Concepta and Texski have put aside their differences and now work together. I'm sure it's win/win for all involved.

Funny how things work out. Funny how things don't work out.

I want to find the post of the guy that trashed Texski when Texski was calling out Concepta. I betcha that guy is now all smoochy-woochy with Texski. LOL

Actually, I think that was you Jkay! LULZ!!!!!!!!!!
