  1. Received my nylon strap yesterday. It's not that bad but I guess I will better stay with my bracelet because the nylon strap has an unpleasant smell of chemicals

Can you tell us how much it cost ? At least approximately ?

    20 $ ? 50 $ more ??

  2. all type of asia 7750 are [censored]... mostly the versions with small second 6 o´clock

maybe they will all work, when The Zigmeister has it serviced. But how much cost this service, and The Zigmeister is in Canada, i am in germany. Customs risk, expensive shipping cost... all in all that not worth.

asia 7750 sucks... but all nice watches work with asia 7750.

and it is very difficult to find a replacement movement. I have 3 demaged daytona with small second 6 o´clock. Surching long time for a replacement movement but no result. I have ask also our dealers, but very difficult to get it.

I thought the NON-MODIFIED NEW Asian 7750 were ok. At least I have not read anyone saying they stopped. I mean in particular the new models like Big Bang. I am really curious if they will stop working or not for those that bought it...

Btw. I am Germany as well :) Viele Grüsse !

  3. i have very bad experiences with asia 7750

i have bought 12 watches in my live with asia 7750. 3 of them was demaged when arrived. 3 demaged after few weeks and 3 after few month. 2 demaged after 1-2 years and 1 working now 3 years.

it´s very painful, because mostly watches are with asia 7750 movements.

Were those modified Asian 7750s or non-modified with seconds at 9 ??

  4. I am pretty sure future releases will be even better. There will be even more great attention paid to details.

@chad: Instead of complaining about the flaws, just send an email to Angus tell him the flaw and he will most likely correct it.

This project is different from previous ones as we know Angus also has the desire to make it perfect and he will even try to convince the maker about all flaws we have been pointing out so far. We gotta appreciate this. We finally have some control on whats being released !

    Enjoy the day :)

  5. Nice piece ! Enjoy wearing it. Big Bang Baby !

The fallen off sticker is a shame (especially for this high price !!), but some of us have predicted it will happen. It also looks as if the last three letters of "Geneve" are not perfectly aligned, i mean they are closer to the top on the rotor. Could be the light though.

How about convincing the maker to NOT put any stickers on the rotor and we can all let the rotor be engraved professionally ourselves. Should be possible, as I understand that the real reason the maker wont do it is not that it could break but that the rotor guarantee would be violated.

Hopefully all the flaws we have seen in the past will be corrected in future releases. <_<

At this point the HBB has slightly dissapointed me (although I still think its the project with the most effort in terms of involving us, attention to detail and quality and variety of matrials used)

I start hoping for an AD-proof (the new category as 1:1 has been abused too many times I reckon) IWC now...Jaques Cousteau, sauvez-moi !

  6. A stupid question (hopefully not too stupid) :

I found a source for eta 2824 datewheels. Why cant we use them ??? Isnt this what we need to send lello (SEE PICTURE) ??

EDIT: Ok I got it, the Inge uses a datewheel overlay....Sorry for this, i should have read the posts more carefully. BUT how does it look like ? Can anyone post a pic of the part that needs to be send to lello ?

  7. @ Chronus:

I could send my DW to Lello as a test/ prototype. I will go to disassemble my Ingie anyway because I will send in the crystal for ar coating .

    What do you guys think?

That would be great. However, I am currently trying to get an extra datewheel from a dealer. If that works, I would be willing to use it as a first test. That would reduce risk for your datewheel.

  8. I dont think it is likely that we will see the "normal" version as this maker is really working hard to get his reps 1:1 by buying the gen and he wont even bother trying to guess the dimensions of the smaller "normal" version...just my opinion :)

We have seen this with the HBB. He is likely to only do the models which are reasonably close to the gen he has in his hands.

  9. LOL ! I knew you would find that one adorable ! It is. In fact, its 1000 pcs limited edition, not 250. The 1000 watches are sold all over the world including in some of the Prada's flagship stores of Italy.

This was a new sponsoring agreement made with Luna Rossa (which belongs in majority to Prada) in order to make a special Big Bang, all in the materials used in the America's Cup boat. Full ceramic, Kevlar, carbon, titanium and rubber. A total synergy between the boat and the watch plus a total synergy between the two brands. Which are both not only luxury brands, but work both with the “fusion “concept.

Hard to find pics though...I tried for some time now. Hopefully someone else is lucky....

Note the red stripe in the inside of the rubber strap...AWESOME !!!
