  1. I know what you mean, there is a very small gap between the band and lugs. Bearly noticable unless you know it is there. I can live with it for now. Maybe later I will. Thanks. "SOF"
  2. Yes, It is marked 20-22 mm. "SOF"
  3. I paid $85 plus tax. Well worth it IMHO. "SOF"
  4. Hey Guys, I just purchased a Gen Breitling Diver Pro Band for my SOH to replace the Rep Rubber Band that I had gotten for it. I thought it would be nice to show a few side by side comparison shots. One huge difference between the two is the dust repelling qualities of the Gen, the Rep band attracts dust like a magnet. They both feel really nice on the wrist, but I just can't stand how dusty the look of the Rep band gets, hope you enjoy! "SOF" Rep is on the left , Gen on the right. Notice the differnce in the wing logo and shape of the Buckle. Gen is attatched to the watch. Notice end keeper on Gen band is narrower and has stamping. Stamping missing from Rep
  5. Did he shed any light on when the new Ceramic GMT Master might be released? "SOF"
  6. Hey Guys, Here are a few photos of a Citizen Dive Watch I got on Ebay. It's nothing fancy, but I will say it is a really nice watch. Excellent detail, better quality than some of the Reps I have seen. I have always been a fan of certain Citizen models and these Automatics are almost impossible to find in the States, mostly availible overseas. I got this one from Singapore, hope you enjoy the photos. "SOF"
  7. As Promised here are a few photos.
  8. Hey Guys, I received mine from Andrew yesterday. I got the model without the numbers. It has the orange He valve and the black date wheel. The rubber band is nice and soft, the only drawback is that it attracts dust like most rep rubber bands do. It is very comfortable, wears much smaller than it looks. I will post some photos tommorrow when I get to work. I have access to a better camera there. Does anyone know where I can get one of those nylon bands? "SOF"
  9. This is an Awesome Watch, I have the BR03-92 with the black nylon band. Something to keep in mind, This watch looks very much like the old 8 day clock that was in use in all US military aircraft for many years. A true classic! If this one comes out I will get one in a heartbeat. "SOF"
  10. The Zigmeister, I hope your time away is brief. Just to throw in my two cents, for those who cannot handle an honest appraisal of their work. Perhaps you should do it right then! Half-ass work is just that and has no place where people spend their hard earned money for repairs and mods. Rob did some repair work for me recently, serviced my NEW UPO that was not working correctly. He found that it had an old movement installed, it was dirty, one of the jewels had fallen out of place and the mainspring was defective. Not only did he do a superb job cleaning and lubing the movement, but he replaced the mainspring free of charge. I beleive that says it all. "SOF"
  11. I received an e-mail approx two moths ago from Angus, PureTime, about that very subject. He said to expect something in December. I haven't seen anything yet. Angus, if you see this could you give us an update? "SOF"

But what about the world famous ColaMariner? how about it guys? It mayt not be anything more than a fantasy, but I will have to have one some day! How about it Clive? "SOF"
  13. Man, That is freakin awsome, are you doing any re-lume work on Bell & Ross? If so I may have a job for you. "SOF"
  14. I thought you all might find this intresting. I purchased my UPO in Dec 06. After about 6-7 months it started acting up, losing time, stopping running. I finally had enough and sent it to The Zigmeister for service, here is the intresting part. What follows is The Zigmeister's notes on my repair job from the e-mail he sent when the work was completed. "- movement serviced - the dial side balance jewel was out...found it on the back of the dial. - movement is an old one. - mainspring was defective and has been replaced. - movement was dirty - has been cleaned and everthing is working fine." While I am now confident that it will work just fine after The Zigmeister's work, I can't help but be [censored] that the movement in my new watch was not as advertised (NEW). I have sent a message to the Dealer that I purchased it from and am waiting for a response. I'm not really sure what to expect, if anything. It just goes to show you that it's the luck of the draw when collecting reps. Check your movements boys! "SOF"
  15. The AR looks good, only on one side I think. Lume is not so great. I am already thinking about sending it to The Zigmeister. "SOF"
  16. Hello to all, This one arrived from Josh yesterday. 42mm Aisian movement on nylon strap. A word of warning to anyone who might be considering one of these, if you have a large wrist some mods might have to be made to the strap to lengthen it. I have a small wrist so it is no problem for me. It wears well on the wrist, feels smaller than it looks. Overall a really nice watch. Hope you enjoy the photos. "SOF"
  17. I think I read something about a new web address again. I think he may have been under some pressure from the Hublot people recently. Give it a day or two and Josh should have things squared away again. I just received my B&R 03-92 from him today, It is way cool! "SOF"
  18. Sweet looking watch! I ordered mine from Josh yesterday, same face with the Nylon band. I will post photos when it gets here. "SOF"
  19. Thanks Man, It is a 2836-2. Ialso have an Omega SMP GMT with the same movement, I haven't had any problems with either one. I also can't wait to see the ceramic bezel. If it does happen I will be replacing mine. "SOF"
  20. Glad you like it, I bought it for just that reason, it is different. I never really worry about someone calling me out, like you said, if someone does say something, I just tell them that I am spending all the money that I saved on watches buying more Guns $ Ammo. "SOF"
  21. So you would like to touch my Rolex! TOUCH IT, LOVE IT! "SOF"
  22. Not to make light of your problem, but I believe it might be what is known as SHMEGMA. An unknown substance that is usually found under sports arena bleachers after many years of use. Best of luck resolving your problem. "SOF"
  23. I am right handed and I wear mine on the Right wrist, it just always seemed to be the natural way. Just to add a little twist to this. What side do you carry your wallet on. Mine? on the left side. Once again, it just seemed natural. "SOF"
  24. Yeah I was going to get one with the black date font, but I felt like being different. "SOF"
