Looks like something this guy would have worn in that popular 1979 Sci-Fi movie...
Oh, and I received this similar one as a souvenir from a friend who visited China- YUCK

I can't seem to narrow it down to just one. These were from six different dealers; many from before I discovered this forum. As you see, I have a thing for vintage Rollies...
Happy weekend! Arty

I'm going to stick with this one for a while. It has a plastic crystal and a fully working Chronograph...

Hmmm... reminded me of a scene from an old 007 movie! Oh, and does your friend realize she forgot to re-tie the drawstring on your swim trunks? LOL. Great pics- glad the watch is watertight. Arty

I was at an antique show and saw a vintage Tudor Submariner and asked the guy how much it cost. He told me $1400, and I thought for a second and told him I would take a walk around and come back if I wanted it. He said 'OK, and what is that you're wearing?' It was my first rep- a RLX Red Sub purchased several years ago on Ioffer, before I discovered these forums. I took it off and handed it to him. I'll never forget this: he looked at it, looked back at me with wide eyes, reached into his pocket for his jewelers loupe, looked it over thoroughly then back at me while reaching into his other pocket, and pulling out a huge roll of Ben Franklins and said 'name your price.' I was not even considering a deceitful transaction, so I told him it wasn't for sale. He offerred 3k, and I felt it was time to come clean, telling him it was not authentic. He shook my hand, smiled and thanked me for being honest, and said it was the best he'd ever seen. Gen goes for 8-10K + right now. Guess this experience is what started my passion for this highly addictive hobby. Picture attached...

I don't think any of my 10 or so reps lost or gained 2 1/2 minutes total in 2006... get it checked or send it back. I would take it to a local jeweler who doesn't mind working on reps; and they might just do it for free or at most, a minimal charge. Crystal crooked though, time to consider a dealer replacement. Josh is great about this- heard Andrew is too... Good luck

elprimero- here are the original online photos that prompted me to order- maybe it's the same as one of the dealers around here right now...
Happy Hunting! Arty

Mine is pretty good although not perfect. I bought it about 3 years ago from a defunct 'Ioffer' seller; what do you think? It keeps perfect time, glows in the dark, and is at least waterproof in the shower, and the swimming pool.
