  1. great shots Freddy. The 75-300 lens is a great lens for an undiscerning eye ;-) I started with one on my first DSLR and loved it...right up until I saw what a great lens was capable of. You have an excellent camera body and don't need to worry about it. I guarantee that you'll be able to take MUCH better pictures with it than a p&s once you get accustomed to using it. I took this with a Canon DSLR and Canon lens and got it on the first try: Shot in RAW and used adobe RAW processor to set white balance in post.
  2. Would be nice with a SS bracelet, too. Is it possible to get with bracelet? Great pictures!
  3. Here's a couple shots of the Chanel J12 in white. My wife's favorite daily beater Thanks for looking
  4. Now THERE'S a name I haven't heard in a few years!
  5. Knock yourself out, Big T. Thanks for the compliments
  6. Here's a few of the Wempe 204 with manual wind movement: Thanks for looking!
  7. Thanks for the compliments, guys! Dudro- it's just an old canon that I've had for awhile. nothing special
  8. Thanks, By-Tor, the pictures aren't that good, but the watches are really nice. Especially the Patek. It has heft and an amazing sheen on the band.
  9. Here's the last few I've picked up from WBK for my missus: My wife hated watches, but she ended up loving these!
  10. I've contemplated doing this to get the open 4 for my Ti Avenger bezel by using a SS version of the bezel. The thing that worries me about doing it is the fact that over the years when I've bead blasted any type of steel it always looked awesome up until the time I touched it with my oily fingers. Then it had stains on it. The titanium doesn't do that. Have you noticed this happening on your case? If not, then I know what my next purchase is going to be...a SS bezel! BTW, yours looks great!
  11. Glad you're doing fine man! I had lasik done with a tracking laser system called 'ladar' which tracks the microscopic movements of my eyes while the procedure is being done. My doctor invented this partciular machine and is/was an FDA tester for various procedures. I ended up with 20/15 in both eyes within a week of having it done (3 months ago) and now they seem to have settled in at 20/15. I worried about the long term effects for years, but finally decided to go ahead and say WTF, you know? I couldn't be happier. No more fumbling for glasses on the night table to go [censored] in the middle of the night, no worrying about getting saltwater in my eyes while snorkeling or scuba diving. It's amazing and something that nobody with good eyes can really understand. You won't regret making the decision to have it done, scout's honor
  12. Same thing happened to my wife's datejust. Twice... Ended up using good half from both bracelets (Josh sent new one that did same thing) and it's okay now. He said he'd never heard it before either. Strangely, the 2 bracelets were different in size....hmm....I wish I had been able to try the JBWeld or epxoy method, but sadly, the pieces were lost before she noticed they were loose. I wish you luck on yours.
  13. I've been asking this question of a few dealers myself lately...I'm basically being told that they can't even get the ti anymore...hell, I'd jump all over one with the new 28800bph movement if the watch was as good as the older ones. I'm sure several people would snap one up besides myself.
