No no, we don't need an elected official, we are all forum detectives. We look out for one another, if someone notices something fishy just pm an admin and it will be dealt with accordingly. I just so happened to spot it, could have been anyone. Nobody is new to forums and has that many phong Franken watches.
I knew the second I read "hello there" that was the title of his pm to me when he tried to buy my Franken Daytona as vintage.Israel
Not to mention the photo he sent me had the exact same watches in it.. with the same dates! Lol, not too bright
A personal thing? I'm trying to protect the members here. I don't know him but I knew who he was.. he came on here recently and ripped people off. I didn't get scammed, others did and it infuriates me to no end. Here is a pm he sent me after the first one..
You know how many phong watches i sold as gen?
And btw he's showing us watches that he stole. We should all say wow nice watches congrats??
Ok this guy is quite a piece of work.. he called me and basically acted like a child, when I called him out he became very agitated and started saying that he was going to rip us off... Here is a pm from him from 5 mins ago.
"Even mr phong will renember me... i didnt pay a cent for all of it... and i have almost 60 rolexes genuine.in stock.. all for free"
We have to be careful guys don't agree to a sale with anyone not known.. sorry other new members he is unfortunately ruining the experience for you.
First of all I am 99% sure this guy is Vintage.israel and Yonatan.ezo
I know his watches. If this isn't him ill eat my own arm.
Not cool yonilon or whatever your name is this week.
Lol, no I had my watchmaker change my crown and tube on an old fav but he didn't know the tap size.. I guess he didn't realize it was the same spec as gen.
I'm not saying that a gen folded bracelet is not correct for a 6263, its not the norm an oyster band is, but it has end links that are not removable. The experience that I've had is that they are never a perfect fit. I had a folded band with 57 end links that didnt fit well. They can potentially come with any number of other end link codes as well, so if you can't remove them you have to make sure to buy one with the exact ends you need, that's the trouble. That's why an oyster band is better for a 6263/5 not only is it the norm but you can use the proper 571 ends with it.. The 6238/9 have slightly diff lug hole placements so the folded or rivet bracelets fit much better on them. The 6263/5 don't forget are not that old. They mostly came with oyster bands.
