I can answer a couple of your questions. I have had both versions and the subdial spacing difference on yours compared to the gen/v72 version is not noticeable. It's a fraction of a mm off. The older cartel versions had the wrong spacing but that was a whole other issue. The tiny diff is enough not to be able to use a v72 dial with an a7750 mvmt, and vice versa. I really don't think you can convert your watch for 1000$ because your case prob won't accept a v72 its not the same case on the inside. Also you would need a new dial that fits onto a v72 movement. You basically wouldn't be able to use any parts from your current a7750 to do the build.

Guys, I'm from Canada so no argument here. But I think it should be mentioned that there are a few really great modders/Franken builders in singapore, not to mention its the home of spinmaster!

Well I did it again, made another impulse purchase, just couldn't pass up on this beauty. I made an offer, and figured if its meant to be then its meant to be.. I didn't want to offer full price. Just got the ok, he accepted! It's an early 7016/0 flake with what I think is amazing patina. I'll be getting it next week. From a very friendly member on net54. Its my first gen purchase in years. I haven't seen any value in buying new rolexes anymore the way I used to, I'm really addicted to vintage Rolex now but was planning to go the Franken route with all of the ones I will want, but for the price the gen in this case makes sense for me.

Both nice, I'm partial to the 5512, if I had an extra 8k lying around I would be buying this one, from network54... I like that the insert looks creamy, I've never seen that before.
