Finally i have it on my wrist and it's a beauty! Howver the bracelet is a lil bit loose on one lug and it is bothering me. So why not taking this as a chance to get some decent modding in EU (ie by domi?)? I'm thinking about a reluming of dial + hands and pearl modding ... Is there any flaw i shoul be thinking about? Any advice is appreciated

Not sure the gen insert fits a DSSD and it does not come cheaper too. Can anyone confirm? What about reluming the dial and put a matt paint: does any trusted modder do this job in EU?

Hi guys so finally i've got my first rep and I went for one of the most reliable trader, BK! I've just got his DSSD and I'm impressed with the quality, I own few gen Rolexes and it's hard to tell this is not a gen too. First impression, dial look good, not sure about the logo and there is too much luminova on some dots...bracelet fits very well, there is no gap between the links, the bezel is not close to the gen but I have expected that, it seems to keep a good time so far. The helium valve is too flat. Am i missing any flaw here? So have a look at the pics and let me know your thoughts on: dial, bezel and pearl. Next step is: modding! I'm thinking about: - relume - matt dial - better pearl? - repaint the insert with the nail varnish following the DIY instructions anything else i should think of?? who is the guy that is the best for this job in EU? thanks T

I am reading mixed comments about which ceramic bezel insert is the best. I have seen many DSSDs from BK modded with an insert from Trevor, but i'm not sure the latter is really the best one as the metal ring around the pearl seems to tick. So what do you think? which one is the best in terms of: - engraved numbers - pearl (and its lume) - color thx

it's definitely a bkue dial as stated by the seller. I have looked at that topic and this is where i got the idea to build my own...however i need to find a better data wheel first, hope to get some advice here... cheers

it seems few small things are not right and I wonder if this can be turned into a good franken SOH. if you look at the pic, the bezel has a different colour and the datewheel is a lil bit off set... so my questions are: - would be possible to put a gen dial on this? the movement seems to be a 2824-2 - where to find a decent blue bezel insert? is it possible to change it? - where to find a better datawheel? any help would be really appreciated

always been in love with the Submersible 025, the waffle dial is terrific! However, it seems quite impossible to find a rep on the trust websites...why is that difficult? is it not popular or I'm the only one liking it? any advice is appreciated!

A part from the dial, what s the difference between v2 and v1.5?

Hi guys, I have a plan for my first franken project, a SOH with gen dial! it seems that a SOH V2 is not available any more, so I have to buy pretty much a v1.5 and have someone to change the dial with a gen. Since I'm in EU, i'm thinking to have that Domi guy in Germany to do the job, or do you have anyone else to recommend? what about the AR coatign quality of the v1.5, is it good enough? any reliable source for it? any help is appreciated, the result will be published soon

i'm lookinf for a decent rep of this wonderful piece, but i've seen a lot of garbage around. Many have the screws on the bezel in a different color and the back is really poor designed. I have read good comments on the one available from WatchcollecterHK, can you confirm that or do you know another valuable source?

Happy feet logo: notice how the "feet" of the logo, the "toes" turn up... happy feet! On modern Omegas the applied logo has flat feet like this: notice how the "feet" are straight.
