  1. I have the T3, and the O'Neal seems fairly similar.. maybe the legacy when a sec@12 version is released.
  2. thats a dike on a bike who would hike herself onto your pike, Mike, if you aint careful...
  3. yes mate i noticed you have been robbing from the noobs their ability to learn anything useful in RWG.. except how to enjoy vodka :D there you go mate... i was wondering when you would begin to show up
  4. Many thanks, I know you will always deliver. Is the watch for me as well
  5. ah you might as well do it, this time is as good as any other.. bring out your damned vodka and glass and red bull. :D
  6. ah, hello, and welcome to the newly 1000 club.
  7. My white theme is currently not for sale, but with the limited gen AP parts, "expensive" needs to be re-defined. Just ask the rest who own an AP franken here. Its fast becoming an ultra-limited type of watch. Of course, when the price represents a significant percentage of the gen watch price, then I would not consider getting/building one either.
  8. I find that Hublots are nice, but then again, taste is something very personal isn't it. Get an AP franken then! lol
  9. AP is not the only brand, especially when it comes to white dials. To me, I am at the stage where the ROOs with the typical layout I wear (round pushers with crown offset) are either gens or frankens. I have reps of cos, but belonging to the category which I mentioned in my previous post. The Safari is not a bad choice at all honestly. Just that looking at your posts, it seems to me that the rep safari would not last more than a month on your wrist, when you see the flaws on the dial right away each time you check it out. The Hublots are much more accurate in my opinion in that aspect. But again, my gripe with them is that they are uncomfortable to wear. At the end of the day, it very much depends on what you are after. I still think a franken would tend to serve your needs better, if you are not considering a gen at the moment.
  10. as a doctor? what have you been up to mate, using scalpels to carve through the bones?
  11. popeye arms, you serious? Can I see a 42mm on your wrist? It would appear the same as when I wear a ladies datejust on mine I believe.
  12. a 8.5" wrist is impressive, and only abnormal if your forearm is 8" My own wrist is an Omega-ladies worthy 6". Yet my rebellious nature demands I wear 'em clocks on my wrist
  13. I was but kidding... I do agree, your RWG member name is one of the coolest.
  14. I didnt wanna call you out, but what were you doing cruising by in a ferrari 458? bike my ass... :D
  15. I would suggest, if you are troubled by the same flaws as I am, but not considering frankens a. Any of the JUAN Pablo Montoya series b. Survivor c. T3 d. Ruben Barrichello ( this one would look very good after some dial mods!!) And no I am a learner myself mate!.. Guys like Madred, Watchmeister, Zorrolondon etc, they are the guys who are armed to the teeth with the knowledge on AP watches. Me? I browse the catalogues and compare pics with the reps. Give me a ride on that Ducati someday.
  16. I missed out the part you quoted, somehow, my bad.
  17. same flaws on the other ROO, but dial (color, subdial position, markers) wise, pretty close. Are you on some sort of grail hunt? lol
  18. I never knew the numbers on the Marcus were sunken in, thanks for the education. To me, it looks very similar to the LV in terms of color scheme.
