  1. I'm a stickler for the details. I tend to notice the small things.

I'm exactly the same. I learned very early on in the replica game that you have to suspend those thoughts, otherwise you will go bald pulling out your hair and lose your voice screaming whenever you notice a problem with one of your watches.

  2. He is very unimpressed with my 1665 (MBW, fully modded slow beat eta ubi datewheel gen crown and tube drilled lugs etc etc) but thinks that the latest sub with the enhgraved rehaut is fantastic.

Well I think his opinion is legitimate. Gen > fake any where, any time. Even if it's an ugly gen vs. a good looking fake.

Patek Philippe is a must have watch and this one is a unique design to indulge every moment in time. It is one of the best watches I have ever owned. It is very stylish and always reliable. This will be a watch to show off with friends and family. In the face it has 9 small diamonds in it with very nice face that is a class of it's own. The leather strap stands out as well with white gold around the face and inside, including hands. This is very rare Patek watch and it's very well taken care of. I only worn it 5 times or so. I really don't feel safe to just wear in any day. Very expensive and I don't want to damage it! I prefer you pamper it yourself as well. One more thing, Only taking bank Transfers, Paypal or personal checks. Personal checks must have copy of ID and a proof that funds are in account with a bank phone number and address! Willing to take offers on ebay bidding first, then email me after you bid to ask if you would like to buy it or not. Oh yeah, Besides the watch box in pictures, I will also give you the original wooden box with window and outside cover box and paper documents as well.Take care and Happy bidding!"

  4. My daughter recieved a Hannah Montana wall clock with sweeping seconds hand for her birthday.

    It is not quiet tho.

This is off topic but I just have to vent my anger whenever I hear those two magical words. Hannah Montana is an awful program which is terrible for children and promotes very negative values - it's like one giant ad campaign. I watched a little bit of it and it made me sick. The little girl maintains a good relationship with her father because he buys her whatever the hell she wants. Right. That's something I want children to pick up. What happened to the good shows we had when we were kids?

  5. I am a well-established member here with over 1,500 posts and excellent business dealings with many board dealers; I also visit the site more than once a day. The Zigmeister is yet to acknowledge my existence despite my attempts at contacting him even before he set up the magical list.

All I can say is good luck sir.

  6. I've seen these all over local business and institutions of all kinds from many different brands. I've always been impressed by the sweep but most of them have a very bland, industrialist styling whereby production seemed to focus on pure function with zero aesthetics in mind. I like it, but I would never hang something like this in my house. Come on... what would people think if they saw Corgi has the same clock as the one in the waiting room at the DMV?

  7. What kind of watch belongs in what corporate setting has been a topic of discussion here many times. This particular timepiece is, in my opinion, no more attention-grabbing then a 49mm Railmaster, Fiddy, or Bentley - all of which are popular and worn regularly by many people. Bottom line in my opinion, if you find it comfortable and it looks good on you, go for it. Life is too short getting worried about what others think about your watch. If you like wearing your AP ROO Lanikai then wear it to your hearts content and know that you have my full support!

  8. I think it's an excellent idea. While we are rep lovers, I think many of us are plain watch lovers at heart. And a recent thread with "gen only" wrist shots proves it. I don't think there needs to be animosity between either world, and support your suggestion 100%. There could at least be a special segment of the photography board reserved for sharing pictures of gens.

I would say let's keep it more oriented towards "fun" because anything more, especially technical model-specific advice is probably still best found at timezone or another manufacturer specific website.
