Hey! Who needs things like "religion" when you have HUBLOT!
-
This is a feature which will likely have no affect on me ;-)
-
Can't you just go into checkout, subtract his $48.80, and add the $8.50 you were originally promised?
Because I live in Canada I always have to write in the shipping information myself.. I am yet to have a seller FORCE me to pay shipping - you can use their little calculator during checkout to make whatever adjustments you want.

The one with the roman numerals is just breathtaking!

The Miyota 17J manual handwind movement in the new gondolo is not a reliable movement... that's why I am not buying it not even for $98. I would rather spend the extra dough for a genuine ETA.

There are many MBK interpretations of this watch, and that, coupled to the Chinese clone versions, can cause a LOT of confusion. I always wanted to make a Nautilus guide but I myself honestly have no idea what's going on. You have several different types of crown length and styles, and also different types of datewheels... it is a mess. Anyone thinking of getting an MBK Nautilus should really be aware that there are a LOT of different versions. There is also a very rare version available somewhere that has the correct "dot" layout as per the gen...
Narikaa version:
(In my opinion the best as it has the vintage-style crown, breathtaking smoky blue face, and eye-catching details)

Now THATS what I'm looking for - Do they sill make it?

Good luck and have fun it's a great watch super classy and elegant. I only wish mine still worked it was a fun piece very fun to wind.

If you already have a genuine Breitling watch, with a fully functioning movement, why in the name of all that is holy would you tear it apart? How is that even remotely a lucrative idea? No rep is perfect, and I agree - adding a genuine movement would likely make it a better watch. But at what cost? The destruction of a gen you already own. It doesn't make sense... why turn one gen and one rep into two frankens when gen trumps rep any day of the week?
Even if your gen donor is really hideous you could sell it on Timezone, ebay, or even trade it in at an AD - likely its appearance would yield interest from a serious collector. By doing this movement swap you are only decreasing its value... and don't forget, even the very good Breitling Chronomat Evolution replicas are still only Chinese fakes... they just won't last.

Until they make one using the bones recovered from the victims I'm not interested thank you very much.

I am confused. How is this supposed to be good alignment? The day is really high and by contrast the date is really low... if they were both either high or low it wouldn't really matter but as it stands they look totally loopy.

ahhh yes... the 'ultrafino'
Skinniest rep I own is below... only 6mm thickness:

The Zigmeister = Canada Customs = Stolen watches, all this does is give ammuntion to those who believe Canada customs are the worse in the world, and it makes me out to be the bad guy, both are unfair and untrue.
Right... so all of the people who want to do business with you but can't because 1) you're impossible to reach and 2) you're not accepting new orders will be dismayed to do so.
-
I would buy the modern version if the rep was accurate and reasonably priced, sure.
-
A great number of those watches are fairly cheap, non-Swiss models... I was much more impressed by the guy who posted his collection of about 12 pieces but all grand complications from Patek, VC, RD, AL&S, etc...
The quantity may be high but the quality is not worthy of accolade in my book.

Isn't it always just wonderful when a rich person gets a taste of his or her own stupidity?
Like the Porsche driver pulled over for speeding... no greater sight on the side of a highway than that!
-
Ouch.
Dirty Canada customs officers. I hate them all.

Tell her it is like wearing a fake Chanel handbag with the name misspelled (in large letters) on the side of the bag -- CHANNEL (spelled wrong).
You know... because all attractive women are dumb-dumbs and the only way to explain things to them is through handbag metaphors...

I'm not a huge fan of rubber... I only bought my first rubber super rep recently.

I don't really understand the appeal behind this watch... yes, it may be a pretty accurate Rolex rep, but the lack of AR on the cyclops is a pretty huge tell and definitely contributes to my amazement in wondering how people can get so excited over this $400 rep when a noobmariner pretty much does the same thing just as effectively on the cheap...
But I'm really just as nuts... buying a new version MBK Aquanaut just because I love Patek Philippe... probably just as crazy for some people!
-
Ha!
I've always read jokes about this watch getting repped and now... here it is!
-
Pope John Paul II also wore one, but it was two-toned.
-
This one seems like a gen, the small engravings on the caseback and buckle are not present on even solid gold reps. The lack of box and papers on a $15,000 watch is a little troubling, especially added to the fact the dealer does not specialize in watches, but rather jewelry.
I'm going to say 'gen' but it's a tough call.
Time for a new piece, help me decide

I vote chrono evolution v2. Lots of different versions means you can get a personalized model that really fits your style, the accuracy is phenomenal and the quality is second only to the steelfish - which is a much more boring piece. I bought a pre-owned version and it's probably the nicest watch in my whole collection.
