I bought mine from Bombay - a furniture store here in Canada.

Because the bracelets did not fit into the cushions as you said, I just plopped the watches inside with the bracelets open and let them dangle around in there... it's much easier that way.

I just got one. It has a few mistakes, but I've received the most compliments on it in one day than on any of my Rolexes for the past year.

It is a very glamorous and opulent looking piece that is a almost distracting in its beauty, despite a few flaws...

1. The "30" minute indicator number (in red) does not line up with the "IV" 6'oclock hour indicator at the bottom of the watch.

2. The inside of the roman "V" are slightly chipped on the inside on certain 5s

3. There is a tiny hair on the sun-moon phase - its almost invisible.

4. There is a tiny chip on the sun in the sun-moon phase - its almost invisible.

Other than that it keeps great time and is one of the most comfortable strapped watches one can own because of the clever, easy to put on/take off strap.

If I wasn't so busy I'd take some pictures...

In my opinion service is not necessary. I have a Orient, works for 30+ years without service...

PS: I would not buy a Frank Muller for $50 even if the rep was perfect... they are so unnatractive. :-/

I was at my local The Bay the other day (this is basically an enormous store we have in Canada that caters to either hillbillies or senior citizens looking for clothing or jewelry) and I went up to the rack of timepieces. They were selling a Seiko quartz with day-date functions for about $400. It didn't have a shred of actual gold on it, and the calendar was in French. Want the full gold seiko quartz chrono? $500. Sure, you can head to the cheaper brands made from even crappier quartz movements.... like these 'Fossil' and 'Nautica' watches I saw, but they are so painfully hideous, I can see why nobody buys them.

I think that if these watch manufacturers put more thought into their designs they would sell a lot more timepieces... there is no other excuse. Not to mention the mark-up is baffling on any watch you pick.

Thanks for your response. As Josh explained it, 14k is a sheet of gold wrap on to the metal, and 18k plating is a chemical dip. Which of these two processes would say is more durable?

14K wrapping is thicker and good for daily wear, use and abuse, but the shade of the gold may or may not give it away under correct lighting and correct circumstances.

18K plate is great too.... you may see some wear on certain high-stress parts of the clasp of the full gold models but you're OK for two tone.

18K wrap: very rare, only available on two watches on Joshua's site. Said to be majestic and infallible in terms of both longevity and appearance.

www.perfect-clones.com (Joshua) has new watches arriving almost daily. You are more likey to see items appearing on their sites than on the message board....

I used a credit card to purchase from Joshua. Everything went super excellently.

It was denied on the first try but that was my fault... I accidentally left a feild blank. :S

The solution for tarnish is to polish, polish, polish. Connoissers makes an excellent polishing cloth that can do the trick.

Can you please point me in the direction of one of these cloths? Perhaps an ebay link so I know what you're referring to?

As a gold lover, this seems like a very important thing to own....

Also, I've made my decision... the TT it is! I've just come to realize it looks better... I'll get it when the snow melts away. This is a watch that's meant to be worn with short sleeves.

I just read recenlty a Polish website dedicated to gen watches of all brands and some polish freaks have just lunched an action so called "spot the fake" in order to spot fakes, take them from their owners and smash them with big barrel during the july meeting.
