  1. Good Friday morning all (well at least the Europeans)! I'm starting my weekend with this big boy.
  2. @alligoat: I asked about Angus that model long time ago. He said that white ExpII (correct stack) has never been produced with proper black markers. They're gun metal color, although when you shoot the watch from the correct angle they appear black. I'm sure that's the case with the pic you linked, too. The genuine dial markers have all matte black color. That's why the black dial version is much better choice for a rep.
  3. Wow, those old ones... I like the old Rush too, but they hit their peak much later than that, imho. Get "Different Stages" and "A Show of Hands" live albums if you want great "cuts" of their best material. Personally, I much prefer the live albums from them. PS: Someone in the forums gave me a hint for Neal Morse's material last summer. Sola Scriptura is really intelligent modern progressive rock album. Highly recommended, been listening to this a lot.
  4. Dream Theater made some nice albums in the early nineties, like "Images and Words". But they have put out some disappointing efforts too. The newest one, Systematic Chaos is actually pretty good... and I've been listening to it quite a bit, just like now.
  5. TT Sub is a typical newbie purchase. 3 of my 4 first reps were TT Subs. Having owned 2 TW versions of the TT Sub, and one Chinese... I can tell you one thing: Don't bother. The reps are nice, and the pics might look great... but the two-tone Oyster bracelet doesn't cut it. The color and quality feel simply isn't there. If you don't mind having a nice looking watch, but fairly obvious rep (that all gold experts would call out under closer examination), go and buy it. If you want a rep that's believable for 99% of the population, get good all-stainless version... like Noobmariner. PS: There are much better options for a TT replica, like Breitlings that feel naturally heavy and solid. But if you absolutely want a TT Sub, and will buy one no matter what... go for the TW/MBW version. The bracelet is better made than the Chinese.
  6. Hey, most forums have this kind of utterly useless (but fun) music thread, so why don't we open one too? Besides browsing for the watch forums, I listen a lot of music during my "office days". Actually I always have something in the player. Right now I'm listening to this amazing progressive rock album from 2007. It's one of my most played records of last year. Porcupine Tree: Fear of a Blank Planet Keep 'em coming!
  7. Is it just me, or isn't this one of the best photo threads on RWG ever? Thanks to all who contributed. Bump for this one... four more shots/compositions I've done of my 'Racer. Keep 'em coming!!
  8. Somehow, I don't see gold fitting very well on a 45mm PO.
  9. Good Wednesday morning. I'm going with the GMT today.
  10. Wow, you have two El Primeros there. Impressive. Unfortunately I don't have a Daytona (rep or gen), but I photographed Stephane's seconds at '6 rep.
  11. Welcome to the forum jwa! I bet you can't buy just one.
  12. I got a few pm's of new members who wanted to know how to post pictures to the forum. I think it's about time to bump this excellent tutorial.
  13. That's a Finland flag though.
  14. Kimi seems to be in a good mood in that photo. Wonder if he has vodka in that bottle?
  15. Here's a photo from 2006, when Kimi was still driving for McLaren. Kimi is wearing a Carrera, and Omega geeks surely notice what watch Schumi is wearing.
  16. That's what I've heard. Interesting to see what's the effect. Rainy GP's are going to be entertaining.
  17. Another silly PS composition of today... to kill this boring Monday evening. Kimi wore an Aquaracer in a photo I saw of him. Not sure if it was the chrono version though. Personally, I can't wait the 2008 F1 season to start.
  18. Thanks fellas. Nothing special, just some PS fun.
  19. It's quite difficult to get an attractive photo of the Yacht-Master, so some Photoshop CS is required.
  20. One of my all time favs today... the mighty SMP Chrono. Comes with a fresh wrist shot, even.
  21. That's fairly nice PO. Personally, I'd much rather keep this one, than get the clumsy 45.5mm version. It's not right to ship a different watch that was advertised, but if you got this for $120, I wouldn't complain too much.
  22. Updates again: Entries for Super Avenger and Skyland... both awaiting links to member reviews. Thanks to the community!
