I oooooogled the GEN here at the Las Vegas Panerai Boutique, freakin amazing watch. Gorgeous! They have it on hold for an actor.......and all I got was a set catalogues and a nice Panerai paper bag

What model is the right one? Looks really nice.

I don't know about the cold affecting the watch (believe me it was freakin cold at night after 14K).....I wore my Corum up to Mt. Everest BC with no problems......

and then  went Oggling in Phuket with it:

....and it starts like a charm everytime I put it on!

Actually, if you don't know about it, you won't notice, koz it could just be the lighting. I doubt that someone could tell at arms length. Remember, it took me 2 trips to the AD to notice it. Most GEN pictures are hard to compare due to the lighting.

In short, I won't worry about it. Look at the pictures of the GENS on my post and my pictures, you could hardly tell.

Just enjoy it. BTW: Mine is still keeping great time. I also have worn it on a sauna and swim with it on a pool with no problems.

Same as what we got from Sead.....with the same flaw.....the minute and second hand tip is slightly lighter than the GEN. As I stated on my post, I did not notice this until I looked at the GEN the 2nd time

at an AD.

UPDATE:

Got a chance to stop by at the boutique on Magnificent Mile that had one of this baby on display yesterday and had a chance to ogle it again on my hands.......and two things I noticed:

The color of the GEN's Minute hand and the second hand dot and tip is a tad darker or the same as the yellow on the inner rotating bezel.

The grays on the case is more pronounced on the GEN>

On the good side.....you will only notice this if you have the GEN on your hands! It's really hard to tell on pictures!

The rest are spot on.

I concur with the OP about the movement keeping TIME! It's scary good. Within COSC!

For those still looking....check SEAD/supermirrors! He still have some stocks......as far as I know, and good ones at that! He's also a no nonsense TD.....and ships like AMAZON Prime!
