    So its time for an update. BTW I am building this with Uwe/FineDD. I think some of you know him? He lives near by me and has some of my watches. He works very professional. I can only recommend him. He did an hell of a job on my GEN dial here where one hour indicator was missing. He totally rebuild it. Here you can see the beautiful GEN dial with his missing hour indicator at 2 o clock. FineDD softly took the indicator from 1 o clock of, made his own templet and rebuild the hour indicators. The GEN dial 100% rebuild, relumed and in factory new state. And here it is. Build together with the new double side ARed crystal, no more sunken date wheel and of course relumed hours, minutes and seconds hands. And here we go... the LUME. Thats it for today. Can´t wait to put it on the GEN strap again. Thanks!

    Some will love this update and some will hate it... I am already excited to hear your feedback. Since I visited FineDD anyways (he lives nearby and we meet for my IWC Big Pilot Franken project) we had a chat of what could still be done on my Sea Dweller. You know I love to wear this watch almost every day. Its my regular watch. As a rare Jackjo version it was already a very good REP - Especially now with the GEN insert and pearl. Also the beautiful TC bracelet is on its way to me. But I wanted some FineDD Spa treatment. So here it is: lume (Tritec C1 super luminova) overworked under the microscope and the double side AR. I know the GEN does not have such an AR but the GEN crystal looks more ARed thn the REP crystal. And many people I know let watchsmith improve their GENs with special coatings, colors and so on. And as soon as my feeling about this changes FineDD can delete the AR on the frontside in a minute. So what is your mind? Maybe I should scout a GEN dial? Does anybody have one and wants to sell it? Oh and by the way: thanks to Uwe/FineDD. He does a hell of a job and is very professional. Lucky me that I live close to him.

    Nice comment! Thanks! I agree a 100%. I agree and: Wow! I still have to catch up on this. Not every watch has a GEN dial but at least some GEN parts (Bezel insert, ...).

    The GEN dial has been completely reworked by my watchsmith. It is also relumed now. The silver border is (of course) not missing. Just got some pictures. Will post details when I pick it up end of the week. Thanks mate. Still with the GEN dial it is not as sunken as with the REP dial. It actually is a huge improvement in my eyes to switch to GEN dial - Though quite expensive.

    Thanks! Everything is going very good - Why dont you also make a thread with some pictures? Today we found out that you do not need much improvement on the sunken DW as soon as you mount a GEN dial in the right way. Very cool. Try it out mate. In the mean time I also decided to get a double side AR on the crystal. It will be back next week. Also I decided to relume the GEN dial and the hands. Lume is good. Do not get me wrong. But I am really picky and in my opinion it can be stronger - It always can! Man I can wait to have this finished and on my arm again.

    Well do be honest... now after having it installed a couple of hours ago.. I am in love. Looks so good. Do not want to bother him since he is doing this as a hobby. Any ideas?

    Look what arrived yesterday. A beautiful GEN insert for my Sea Dweller. Sorry for the pictures. All done with my iPhone at night. I am totally blown by the previous insert. It was a modded one with a Watchmaterial pearl installed by Jackjo. Here is a comparison shot. Already very close to GEN. GEN pearl of course is a bit better. GEN is right.

    100% Thanks! I did not buy a GEN crown yet. Comparing the REP to the GEN I do not see the sense. Maybe later.

    Dear all, look what just arrived!! I was lucky, still spend a lot of money and the 2 o clock marker needs to be fixed by my watchmaker. BUT I think you do not get these GEN dials a lot of times, right? I already compared the GEN dial with the REP: GEN dial finish is much finer / just take a look at the cycles for the power reserve GEN font for "Schaffhausen" and "Automatic" differs The numbers in the power reserve are bolder in the GEN dial The lines for the minutes are getting smaller next to the power reserve at the GEN dial / In the REP dial they are always the same size Hope that helps some people here? Anyways here are the pictures:

BTW mine is already relumed with Tritec C1 super luminova - So it glows like crazy too. So here is the next Update / What I just ordered: TC 93160A

    I just checked again a GEN in the shop and my Dial looks a bit different. Swiss made is not well aligned. So I ordered a TC dial now. Hi Woof, the vintage one is only on the movement picture. Take a look at the pictures with the complete watch. There is the recent Date wheel on. It is still mounted in the watch and not on the new movement. I just double checked. Color is also right. I can take a pictures with the date set to 6 or 9 if you like. They are closed. So here is the next Update / What I just ordered: TC 16610LV Dial TC 93250 V3 Thanks again and I will keep you updated!

Cause I dont want them since the SeaDweller is also available without and I think my Dial and so on fit to the one without the holes or am I wrong?? Thanks! Nice idea. What clasp do I need exactly?

I saw some GEN 16600LV without the lugholes. My dial and the rest look match the versions without lugholes right?

    Dear all, before I start I want to thank this really nice community! I already bought some nice pieces here from some members and met some really friendly people - Also from Germany or Netherlands. Lots of support here!! I did not know that the scene would be so big in Germany too. Sorry to copy and paste that from my other two threads. But I am really impressed here! So this time no work log. I just want to show you my daily watch I bought from "dutchguy2" and of course I would love to read your feedback and I have one question. Specs: SSD V2 GEN crown CGs trimmed by Jackjo Bezel insert shaved by Jackjo Watchmaterial pearl installed by Jackjo Caseback and crown seal lubed by Jackjo Bracelet Lubed and buffed by Jackjo Relumed with Tritec C1 super luminova Movement serviced and regulated to +2 seconds a day First questions: What else should I change to GEN? I think this is already close to perfect. Might only consider a GEN insert with pearl. What do you say? The bracelet does not look as good compared to a GEN watch. What is closer to GEN? This? Any other ideas? I do not like the space between the links. Depending on the year of the watch I do not need to drill holes for the drill lug holes, right? So what are your thoughts? Any other ideas or hints or feedback? Thanks!!
