  6. Thanks for the PIc! Screws look fine to me... the only obvious flaw is the color of the date wheel..font is good to.... You may be able to have someone paint it?
  7. Tim and sydneysider - Thank you for the info... I have been incontact with: Antiquorum, Phillips and will prob be calling: Tajan Christie's Sotheby's I will then make my decision who to go with...
  8. No rain on this parade... I actually wanted to see the Rep.. but, nothing can replace the feel of Platinum... Here some info I found on it... and it did come with a White gold Clasp. It is in French but, I had it translated.. http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr http://www.tajan.com/pdf/2005/5601.pdf and they have a price of ($32,574 / $40,289) for my Watch (25,000/30,000 Euro)
  9. Doesn't beat the $1 million dallar pam I found.. http://cgi.ebay.com/Panerai-PAM203-1950-8-...1QQcmdZViewItem

  12. Just took the survey and read the last one... Great info!
  13. Do you have a link to this said rep? I couldn't find it...
  14. It does not open up...It is a solid piece of plantinum.. It was purchased by her Father..although it is a man size watch..by todays standards it's unisex. (I will take a Wrist pic of it on me and post it) It is indeed Very unique...
  15. Nothing on the watch has been replaced.. It is as it was made from Cartier... not sure why they choose 18k on the clasp.. thanks for the info..
  16. Ok fellow RWG members.... My wife and I have decided to sell this watch. It is a: Cartier Platinum 150 Anniversary Tank Guichet (#029/150) I Paid to have it Valorized by Cartier in 2005 as you will see in the pic's but, the Valuation Manager at Cartier said this is not specifically what the watch is worth ($23,200USD) it is only a base evaluation and Authenticity Certificate it does not take into account the rarity of this piece. That being said I'm not trying to make a fortune on this watch just trying to get what it is worth. Where would be the best place to sell this watch? These are not the best pic's and I will be taking some replacements soon.. The watch has been Fully polished and Brushed by Cartier and has no marks or scratches. Thanks in advance! Ron
  17. ehh, you can always buy another asian 7750 mvt.... can't you?
  18. Sweet, please keep us updated if you ever swap the mvt ..
  19. I had the OG Pam on today... with a Fresh Davidsen Sapphire and a AD Polished job..
  20. according to Tourby you can't....although he didn't get into detail.. I assume it maybe the date window position and maybe something else?
  21. Yes but, as Tourby pointed out to me earlier.... the swap won't work with the new A-7750 and here is another The Zigmeister thread for reference on sizes: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Guide-To-7750-Ha...Old-t12766.html
  22. Why would this not be possible... If you get the swiss 7750 mvt and transfer the "transfer Gears"/
  23. Gen parts ... especially mvts Cost lots $$$$ but, that would be the case with any top end brand not just Panerai.. In anycase I'm sure some of these guys will point you in the right direction for your project..
