  1. Haha, we have to compare our picture, since we've ordered the exact same combination. Safari with modded pushers, HKtan brownstrap. You've clearly got taste mate!
  2. Toro has the Montauk Highway, that's probably why you hear his name so much. Everyone gets it from Toro. Other good dealers you'll find here on this forum under "trusted dealers". Almost all of them has the best AP reps.
  3. I asked Connie to do the mod for my watch I ordered, and she'll do it for no charge aswell. She's awesome!
  4. Nice mate, but now when you have the gen, I'll be a friend and take care of the rep for you. I'll even do it for no charge.
  5. Cool, we ordered the same watch on the same day. Goodluck with yours!
  6. Do you have pictures of these two? Also, it all comes down to what you like the most. It doesn't have to be spot on with the gen to work. Many gens vary aswell, some of the gen Safaris has a really dark colour, and some are lighter.
  7. Voted for Safari, as I feel the same way as Watchmeister. Both are badass watches, and really great looking. But the Safari will do you more justice as a big goldwatch will probably look cheesy or wrong in a everyday lifestyle. But it'd be nice to have a Don Ramon for nicer occasions.
  8. Good thing I read this thread, as I was not far away from choosing this particular TD for my first rep purchase. Sad thing to see though, as I thought this one would be one of the best. Good thing you know more then me, and will be able to fix it. Great looking watch nonetheless.
  9. Yes, but why does the rep cost 500 USD to start with? Something "in the making" that pumps up the price?
  10. Hey guys. I was just wondering if anyone has some input in how harsh the Swedish customs are? I've read that most Scandinavian countries has issues, and therefore choses to ship it China -> UK -> ~~. Is it the same deal for us Swedes aswell? Cheers.
  11. HKT = Aaron? Im ordering a rep AP ROO safari, and I'd like a new hornback strap for it aswell. Does he have a website?
  12. Thanks! Got any pictures of that combination perhaps?
  13. That's too bad, it's an real beauty. I wonder if a HBB RG with a similar strap as the one on the picture would be an alternative?
  14. I've been looking through the trusted dealers list, and I have found plenty of sellers who has some Bvlgari watches. But noone has the one I'm looking for. This: Has anyone come across a good rep of this beauty, or does it even exist? I know I've seen it on some scam sites, but who knows what quality they have.
  15. Great picture ninjagaiden! I'll be ordering one myself soon. Can't wait.
  16. There is a gen "evolution" aswell, so the rep is just a rep of the real HBB Evolution. It's just as it says, an "evolution" from the older Bigbang, with stickmarkers instead of numbers.
  17. I think the evolution is another design of the HBB Bigbang. Instead of having numbers on the dial it has just the pin-markers. Kinda crappy explanation, but I hope you understand.
  18. Cool. I think I'll go with the 45.5mm since I already have a watch that's 40mm. I'll probably take the orange bezel aswell, since it'll give more colour then I get from my other watches. Thatnks for the help guys!
  19. Great to hear! My wrists aren't so big, so I think the 42mm will be the best watch for me. But it's hard to decide.. I'll wait for your pics, and then make up my mind. Please share them when you get it.
  20. I'm having trouble deciding. I just read By-Tor's review of the 45mm "UPO", and reading it it clearly states that it's a better rep then any other Omega. My only fear is that'll it be too big. So I've been looking on the 42mm PO instead, but the price difference between these two aren't much at all, so I don't know how I would feel buying a less accurate rep when I could buy the best. Now I also realize that his review is from 2006, has anything changed since then?
  21. There is a big list with trusted sellers on this site. Check them out! Im also fairly new, but what I've noticed is that it isn't the sellers who make the watches themselves, they just sell them. Thus, most of the sellers sells the "same" watch. Same quality, same factory etc. I'd go for the sellers with a reasonably price, and good service. Pick one, mail them, see the pics etc, and then make up your mind.
  22. Yeah, I've been looking for a good and trusty dealer myself (reason why I registered here). Im totally new to all this, and all I've done so far is to google "rep watches", but most of it is scams. Anyone know a good site or dealer?
