  1. Thanks HackR, gave the greenlight and hopefully I'll be rocking a Breitling next weekend!
  2. Hey guys! Some might know me as a AP guy, and that'd be correct. Now im trying a Breitling, but im a total rookie on them. Does this look good to you?
  3. Nice one mate! Looks awesome! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Damn, that thing looks way better now. Had to be an skilled WS who did that! .... (It was me ) Like Pisko said, it was just the rotor that was out of place a bit, and it badly needed a cleaning and buffing. The rotor looks way worse then it is in the first pictures, due to old glue from the plate that should be there with the Panerai text. We cleaned it, and glued the piece back on, so it's shiny and goodlooking now. Was my first time doing something major like this. We took it all apart, took hands off, cleaned the whole case and took the blue AR off with some Autosol. IMO, the result is great.
  5. Yes, it's the "front glass" You get the crystal only, you need to mount it yourself or get someone else to do it for you. I know there are modders located in Singapore, so it shouldn't be a biggie.
  6. Haha, goodluck nailing those basterds! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Happy new year bro, may it bring us plenty of 1:1 AP reps!
  8. Eventhough, I hardly think I'll ever be in Charlotte NC, but if I ever would, I'd love it if you brought your avatar girls with Veronica Mars (?) in your signature.
  9. I used to be like some of you guys, having a ton of different perfumes. But now I only go with one smell, and I feel that is way better. People know me from my smell (I don't exaggerate it, but I have a hint of something, you know) and that's how I want it to be. I've used many different smells, but somehow, somewhere, some of my friends started copying my perfumes - so we all smellt the same. Now I use Hugo Boss X Y for a couple of years, and I dig it! I don't tell anyone I know what smell I wear, since I want to keep it for myself.
  10. What I've heared the RG coating is rather good? Should atleast be good for a few years. IMO, wear it till it starts to fade, then re-coat it.
  11. Care to post some pics of that mod? Would be great. EDIT: Found the thread on RG, pictures do not work. Bumped it and asked for pics. Let's hope it's good!
  12. My ROO also came with a loose screw that woulda fallen off if I didn't tighten it directly as I got it. Seen others get that aswell, seems like they somehow forget to tighten those. Just a heads up if you get a ROO, check those screws.
  13. Nice watch. Im actually thinking of getting a Diver, and use it as a "daily beater". Getting it waterproofed etc, and then having it as a everyday watch witch I can go swim in, do some harder work etc. This seems to be the perfect deal.
  14. Wait, so this isn't a rep? Then I would ask for a legitimate AP service center, and get it fixed there. Wouldn't go sandpapering a gen like that! Do you have any insurance or guarantee?
  15. WTF is up with Australia, you guys seem to have the hardest quarantine regulations! Hope it'll get sorted quickly mate!
  16. Well, it's just rounded rubber corners, so shouldn't be hard to do it by yourself. But I can't guarantee it'll look good. They're small, and you might round it too much.
  17. Hmm, haven't experienced this on my watch! Hope it'll be okey!
  18. Im on a hunt for a SA, white dial with batton dial. Having 7"-ish wrist (6.8" is more accurate) im worried this beauty will be overwhelming. What do you Breitling pro's think of that?
  19. Well, I don't questions HKtan not being legit. But I do feel he often lies about the time when a strap will be done. Heard many stories about this. He runs a business, and wants to keep everyone happy, so he says 2 weeks, and everything is jolly.. Until the 2 weeks are up, and he realize he was way to optimistic. I've ordered a strap, he said 2 weeks. I mailed him back, asked if this was really a legit time, he answered "yes, I guarantee". That's not just a promise, it's a legit guarantee he'll have it done in 2 weeks. That's what I paid for. Anyway. Im not one to rant, I have my patience. The 2 weeks are up, but we'll see how much extra time I'll have to endour. But as GreenHornet says, it's better to be honest about wait times, since it'll just bite you in the ass when people will get the wrong impression after too many faults about that.
  20. I've ordered some tools that Klockis showed on another forum. I'll try to change the strap myself!
  21. Haha, hopefully. I need to find someone here to do the strap change, im to scared to do it myself, haha. But I bet every watchsmith/battery changer will be able to change a strap.
  22. Looks great mate! And it'll just get better with the HKTan!
  23. Many of the different dealers has different prices. If it's only price you're after, then go for the cheapest, but some favour other things then the price alone.
  24. The brown from HKtan is alittle darker then Gen, yes. But your's look awesome!
  25. He's exclusive to another forum, so I don't know if I can link his email here. As far as I know, I haven't seen any website of his. I think it's best to go through mail. PM me, and I'll give you his mail adress.
