it is a marketing ploy... I predict that they will stop selling the correct handstack some point soon, release a lesser movement for the same price, then re release the correct handstack movement at a higherprice in the future... with additional flaws of course...

no more correct hand stack movements? I find that hard to believe... i just hope they fixed the movement, and that they put it into a new exp II white face...

the hour hand should jump an hour when you adjust it, not the gmt hand... maybe the new rolex movement is different... but im pretty sure its not...

doc, I think that is correct for the movement. that is how my correct handstack expII works...

smp chrono? I love the watch... would be interesting to see it tested....

accuracy of a fantasy watch is an oxymoron... my comments were not based on accuracy, just well though out design.

I think the font of the numbers on the bezel is both not a good font. nor does it look like it is printed well. the pearl also looks poorly made.

I think this could have been a nice watch (not a nice replica) if a little more effort was given to a few details...

But as I said, buy it, it might just not photograph well...

and if you do buy it, wear it well... and if its junk, do a pictorial torture test with it:)

it is a huge stretch to compare this watch to a white faced exp II. Here is why I think the watch you posted goes wrong:

1) hands and dial markers are silver colored, not black. part of what makes the white faced exp II so great is the contrast between the dial and hands etc.

2) dial has maxi markers, but not a maxi minute hand. makes hands look smaller than they are.

3) white bezel insert with polished bezel is cheap looking, the black numbers on the brushed bezel with just a hint of polish is balanced and clean.

I think even real white ceramic looks fake. black ceramic if done well is very nice. just a few of my thoughts. I tried to stay away from the obvious ugliness of the basic construction of the watch, and stay with design.

BUT... if you like it, wear it well. its your wrist, dont let others tell you what to put on it...

Second, I want to publicly thank you for the unreal level of kindness, understanding, and humanity that you and Jen exhibited before, during, and after my transaction with you. It was a hard time for me and my family, and the little hick-ups that I caused during my appointment seemed so big to me, but through it all, both you and Jen were so amazing and worked so hard to put everything back in order. Your actions and words really helped me. I cant call you a friend (yet), but I can say that there are a few people in this world that I have dealt with that can approach the level of customer service. Oh, and the work you did on the watch? it has left me speechless...

the white faced exp II is the most perfect watch ever to wear the rolex name. I pray to the watch gods they don't tard it up like they are the rest of the line...

Worked on this yesterday, mods to the clasp and bracelet pins... can't seem to take it off... I will be doing some painting in the house this afternoon, so it will have to...

Modded clasp (removed the half link and reworked a center link to make clasp more like the gen)

I will be using both of these shiny beauties later this evening....

I believe in my heart that Neil will get me a watch someday.(and the noob bracelet that I paid for as well).

Maybe I will get in in time to give it to my kid for high school graduation... he is 5 now, so that give him a 13 year window

if I wasn't sending my INGY to The Zigmeister next month, I would be all over this. a gen tube and crown and you are golden...

on a side note, an estate jeweler in my area had a white faced with lug holes for $2200usd last week. sold it in 4 hours of it being in the display window...

If it not what you paid for, either ask for a refund for the difference, or send it back... if it is cosmetically OK then I would try the refund option... good luck

COD4, and GT5 Prologue on the PS3 and Mario Cart on the Wii. might get Haze for the PS3, demo is great.
