@Rosnik, PM me and we can talk about the spring bars
-
I tried to use more permanent solutions, such as glue and expoxy to build up the back of the strap, but no glue will stick to the strap. only dust
here is my UPO with the rubber strap
On a side note, if you need 1.8mm spring bars, let me know. I had to buy a bag of 100, so I have a few extra.
-
@rosnik- the rubber strap should be tight to the case. most pop out from the lugs when you flex your wrist. some have used thicker spring bars to help with this, but for mine it was not enough.
my solution as to cut very small pieces of black electrical tape and shim the rubber strap at the bacl of the watch. it makes the strap fit tight, and it never pops out. and unless you take it off and look for it you never see it.
-
how is the fit of the rubber strap while you are wearing it? looks like it fits well. how about a wrist shot?
-
looks great. my upo is my daily beater. PT got mine for me as well. wear it well
-
wear that one well my friend... that is just sexy....
-
totally sexy. great shot. some day I'll sport that one...

interesting that the all gold blue faced sub has a maxi hour hand, but the ss blue faced version does not.

I am an architectural designer and a DCC artist. In short, I am a one man show from beginning to end for my architectural projects.
I am also the guy that translates the architectural staffs IT issues to our IT staff. it is actually the part of my job that takes the most effort.

I want... keep us informed....

My ziggified white faced exp II has a old noob case, noob dial, gen crown and tube, and latest correct hand stack eta movement from pt's last exp II. he had to replace the date wheel since the correct hand stack movement had the cyclops too far right. I have a date wheel coming from paul to add to the mix, so maybe this dial will complete the piece.
