  1. yep scam site - found another one suspiciously similar i like the photo top right where the picture is a reverse image
  2. http://tracetimeshop.com claims to be a Tissot outlet - but the prices are far too low i also like the "To celebrate our Tenth Anniversary, all our orders wont be shipped until Feb.18th. " coinsiding with chinese new year?
  3. Looks like Silix is now doing a a21j version - is this the same case as the cartels? http://www.silix-prime.com/rol245-p-3906.html
  4. OK I think ive sussed the problem - on a V72 all three subdials are the same distance from the centre, however on a st-19 the bottom subdial is futher away (8.16mm as opposed to 7.81mm), therefore all three sudials have to be too small, the bottom subdial has to be smaller than the other two, or has been done on this new rep the bottom subdial runs into the minute track.
  5. Finally found a photo of the old cartel pn dial, and yes it looks like the bottom subdial is smaller although i still think it looks better than the new dial.
  6. Agreed, but if you look at the older ST-19 daytonas the hour sub-dial is clear of the minute track, not sure if the sub-dials are smaller or the minute track is thinner.
  7. There are no vintage heuer reps as we know them however there are a lot of "fakes" for want of a better term sold as gens (other brands re-dialled etc.) check out http://www.heuerboy.com/fakes.htm
  8. If you look at the construction of the gen bracelet it has open ends. I have a similar non-branded bracelet I bought off ebay for my SM 300 which I re-sized by cutting a row of "links" off the ends, unfortunately the rep bracelet has solid ends and cant be re-sized this way.
  9. some more old Heuer catalogs http://www.heuerboy.com/catalogues.htm I love these vintage Heuers shame no one reps them
  10. What's that your using as a spacer on the strap I could really do with something simillar for my 18mm "Help For Heroes" nato?
  11. Doing a quick and dirty comparison it does look like the watcheden is an 8mm crown although it looks too thin.
  12. just spotted this - 6536ish http://www.watcheden.com/rolex-submariner-swiss-eta-2836-movement-with-black-nylon-strap-vintage-edition-i-51791-p-1.html is that a coin edge bezzel and a brevet crown??
  13. So we all know you can't get a decent monaco rep because the gen uses an ETA 2894 secs at 3, so its either faux chronos or a quartz. However not many people realise (i certainly didn't) that the present monaco is a not very accurate "rep" anyway and only bears a pasing ressemblance to the original McQueen monaco which had round pushers and the crown at 6. This model probably isn't "reppable" either so thats no help but there also seems to be another model with a manual movement which has three dials, secs at 6, crown at 3. http://www.specialistauctions.com/auctiond....php?id=1079010 Could this model be repped using the copy venus movement in the same way as the Newman Daytona as i'm sure it would be popular or is this another monaco pipe dream?
  14. Yes I think your right it is a milgauss bezel, as for the case size the very early subs were 37mm so with a new insert could this be more accurate than the fantasy no CG subs currently avaliable? great site for info on vintage rolexs by the way - thanks http://bjsonline.com/watches/articles/6200.shtml
  15. Silix has got ETA powered no CG subs up. Nice riveted bracelet but what's with the bezel insert and where has the pearl gone? http://www.silix-prime.com/product.asp?id=1851
