2005SUBMARINER

my friend had this old zodiac laying around , he said to check it out for him cause the dials move when you shake it . it has some kind of swiss 21j auto movt , but i cant seem to find the eta stamp . the band is not original to the watch . would like to know if any 1 knows a lil about this movement & watch , value ? hes looking to sell it on the bay . thanx ed.

hey thanx ken ! noooooo template man , my wife & i printed a foto of the original van halen ll guitar & did it all by eye . i even ebelished a lil on the design , but i cant belive the way it turned out man , cant wait to finish this project . i think it turned out pretty good considering that i live in a apartment on a 1st floor & i had to sneak the guitar out my window at dusk to paint it in phases , in order to avoid getting caught by my neighbors man cant wait to buy a house ..

so heres the black paint finished & the masking tape removed mind you its the 1st time iv painted anything lol . ill wait 1 week b4 applying the clear coats .. heres what it will look like once im done

those A.D. sales men are ass holes ! i think the super sd is just as good ..

if your case has a 3mm tap then you can use a gen crown & tube .. good luck .

so finaly the base coat is completed & ready for the masking of the evh racing stripes & then the black coat & clear . heres what i have so far the yellow coat completed . this will be a replica of the van halen ll black & yellow guitar .. as i complete coats ill keep ya guys posted ..

man that was excellent ! thanx for taking the time .. in reguards to the rust , you can remove it easily with a lil mothers aluminum rim cleaner .. will leave it brand spanking new

heres the yellow base coat , i have to do a lil sanding tommorow cause i had a lil run . heres the yellow base coat finaly done ! ill let it dry for 1 week & then start taping the body & get it ready for the black coat . . i got lots of goodies for this evh project guitar ..

awsome ! i think a pair of good gen gibson pickups will do it for your lp man ! looks realy great ! enjoy ..

i think it looks pretty dam good ! & the finish looks great man ! cant wait to hear it .. heres what i did with my evh kramer so far ! i wasent happy with the paint job so im modding it all the way ! its getting a new vh paint job by me i want it to look like the gen black & yellow kramer . its getting all new jackson neck & hardware i bought realy cheap on the bay .. heres what i got so far man .. going to install this neck this is the paint job , i will do it my self this is what i got so far , removed the factory paint job . heres after 1 coat of primer i will continue tommorow & keep ya guys posted ..

thanx for the foto ! sir neils version looks awsome ! I KINDA like this deep blue dial that josh offers on his all gold sub , they should install that blue face on the tt sub as well , no trace of purple ..
