Confirmed on RWI, bezel assembly not interchangeable :-(

If someone put's these watches together and waterproof them, what would be a reasonable price? And from what parts would this best version exist? If the bezel assembly isn't interchangeable then I think this build would be "best": -BP case -BP bezel assembly + insert -BP hands -BP hourmarkers -noob dial -noob bracelet If bezel assembly is interchangeable then: -noob case -noob dial -noob bracelet -BP bezel assembly +insert -BP hands -BP hourmarkers -BP hands

Everybody is saying insert won't fit. Have to replace the entire bezel assembly. Of course you can always try. Haven't seen someone actually try it. I am waiting for new batch. If it isn't updated the I will assembly swap

Only for lume? I know there are other things that combined would presumably make it better but this dude is only talking about the lume ;-) There is a second batch coming of the Noob V2 because the first batch is sold out. They say the second Batch is with improvements. But the only thing people are and can complain about are the insert markings that are better on BP. But that's really it. Otherwise it is perfect

If that would be true.. But what if all other things would still be better on the noob would you then still pick the BP? How about picking the best overal watch and then if nessecary just do a relume ;-)

No more stock. The new batch should come with updates supposedly..

Was at an AD yesterday and certainly wasn't matte like yours. Maybe there are 2 versions like with the DSSD. That one also has a matte and glossy dial. There was a very long debate on that model too. But it was finally settled, there a two versions. Maybe they did the same with the Explorer II

I do not agree.. Less glossy is still 180 degrees from matte Just look at laptop screens.. There are matte and glossy... Ok? Totally different. Now this. Would you call the screen of an iphone 5 more matte or glossy? I think you would say glossy. Right but did you know that the screen of an iphone 5 is almost 30% less reflective than its predecessors ? But we still wouldn't say a matte iphone 5 screen is more gen like than an glossy or do we? Or would you replace the broken screen with a matte one? And I think this dial maybe around the same.. Maybe 30% less glossy or so.. I really wouldn't know the exact numbers. But he it's just my opinion

Ok. to settle this once and forever..the dial is not matte..here is the proof.. Just look at the reflection on the dial! Even the hour markers reflect on the dial. Like I said, it might be less glossy then other rolex dials but certainly not matte.

Because replacing the whole bezel assembly has a bigger chance of succeeding

Busy on ordering the BP, then hopefully I can still buy the noob and see if these two are able to put together

The entire bezel assembly is the same. Both gen constructed. If the insert won't fit then one can always just change the entire assembly..

I know the old one didn't fit because noob didn't have gen bezel construction. It has now with the V2. So it should fit, and otherwise maybe with small mod. But they are both gen construction now so it should fit. You are correct on the hands, they adjusted that on the V2. If Andrew sells them separately then I am going to order now!!

Mmm thinking of buying BP and noob V2 to create the best of two worlds.. Unless somebody can source a BP insert and hands for me..
