  1. if you got that much free time, why don't you come over and mow my lawn.

Oh my god, man. What's that supposed to mean?!

You have offered your review on this site, I believe, honestly, for the benefit of other forumites. For the same benefit, Jkay stated that there is an incorrect information in that review. I believe that it's beneficial to know who are the dealers who say they sell one thing and sell you another. That, my friend, is the definition of scam.

If you like your watch and believe it's worth what you've paid for it - fine. But the reality is that you have overpaid and didn't get what you paid for. I, and I believe other forumites, have to learn for that experience and thank god Jkay, Rolexman and Andy are here to teach us. I don't understand why would you deny his advice, but that's your prerogative.

On the other hand calling him or others here names or this sort of an attitude is not how we try to conduct our business here, on RWG.

Oh, and while we are at it: thank you for your useless, uneducated, misleading and plain wrong review.

    :frusty:

  2. Mine was from Trustytime/Andrew and my god 7-8 week turnaround is just ridiculous (given 2 weeks to send to and 2 weeks to send back, leaving 3-4 weeks for repair?!). How was the repair? cause when i was asking around, when it gets repaired its only going to cause more issues down the road as the watch was made faulty in the first place. After hearing that i just want the watch replaced rather than repaired. This whole experience is horrible and this will definately be the last replica watch i ever buy.

Honestly from just asking a few watchmakers in sydney - NOT a single one of them wants to repair the watch cause it is a replica.

Anyone in sydney, Australia know of a good place to get it repaired (that isnt too fussed that its a replica?).

Try sending a gen Omega or IWC for repair. If you will get them back within six months, I'm sending you my reps as a gift.

Seriously though, some gens take much longer to fix, than seven weeks. I'm not taking the dealer's side, just stating facts.

  3. Timesshop isn't a trusted dealer here, so I can not comment on him, because I've never bought from him. At one period in time, some people were concerned that he was a scammer, due to poor communication. On the other hand he is a trusted dealer on some other forums, although I so not know what the experience of those fora members is.

Joshua, perfect clones, is my regular dealer and I have a very good buying experience with him. I always compare his customer service to Amazon's and for me, personally, Josh wins every time.

In any case, before you buy from anyone, read some customer's reviews to get an idea about the dealer, his or her availability, communications, product quality etc.

    Good luck, man.

  4. Taylor, this is why wehave this forum. The information you get here, closeups, the advice are so much more than any in hand experience you will ever get in a store. The collaborative knowledge and experience of the community will always be greater than any personal evaluation.

Personally I don't think that 350 is a lot of money considering what you're getting with these watches. If you spend wisely, on a known watch, with good movement there's no competition. Same, absolutely same, watches are sold by watch companies for five to ten times more than the reps. Sure, if compared to so called canal street pieces, these watches seem overpriced, but in reality there is no comparison ever be possible between them.

  5. 1. Asian is a simple asian made movement

    2. Asian clone is a clone of the Swiss movement almost 1:1. The main difference is the quality control of these movements which is lacking.

    3. Swiss is supposed to be a genuine swiss movement (although don't be surprised if it will have some chinese parts or not Swiss per se.) (

A watch movement is considered Swiss if:

    • the movement has been assembled in Switzerland and ,
    • the movement has been inspected by the manufacturer in Switzerland and;
    • the components of Swiss manufacture account for at least 50 percent of the total value, without taking into account the cost of assembly.

Read this thread to see how difficult it is sometimes to tell between the Swiss and the Clones

Regarding your DSSD question I think that BK's are better looking and more reliable, but I'm not a Rolex expert. Maybe it will be better to post this question in the Rolex area.

  6. Andy, I think that it's probably best to move the Links link to where the My Watchbox is in the main menu.

Lots of peaople are looking for TDs and even if they read the Watches, Clothing & Accessories section they are still confused, because many TDs do not list their info there.
