I've almost bought a chrono version a couple of months ago. I had it for a week or so and decided that it could not justify the price (even though I bought a used one), but this watch looks phenomenal in person, especially the dial (and sub-dials on chrono).

Would definitely buy it if repped.

The dial on black xv is more accurate, IMHO. But if you're after spitfire, read my review on it (in my sig ). Anyway I love the watch, accurate and more importantly - looks great on the wrist.

I suppose it depends on your location. I usually get the watches in 7-10 days, but I guess it's different from country to country, customs, the dealers work load etc.

I think it looks smaller (since no CG), but the case is thick, so if you have a skinny wrist it may look too large for you.

I love that Ebel, its just a great watch (wearing mine now as a tribute).

I'm actually a bit surprised that Ebel is leading for now. Considering the large fan base brands like Rolex and Panerai have here on RWG, one would think that 1911 would not be even considered.

Ebel 1911 easily wins this, IMHO.

UPO or 42mm PO, definitely. It's not about how accurate it is or how great its design is. They are, but f*ck all that. This watch's are so comfortable to wear, you'll forget it's there. I wear my 42 PO for weeks in a row, without noticing it, and I mean I don't take it off at all - sleep, showers, work, playing with kids, all that. The bracelet is as smooth as silk (at least on mine) and the overall durability is amazing, given the fact that it's a rep, made with low quality metals.

I like it. Maybe you should compile a list of guidelines on how to write an article, what kind of articles allowed etc? just my 2c
