I started my chrono and felt the pusher didn't go smoothly. The chrono started but I couldn't stop it anymore (no stop, no reset ofc). Then I heard something was loose inside the case.... Opened up the watch and this is what I saw:

Now my chrono is running forever.

Is it possible to fix it?

So I went to my local watchsmith to get something smalls done and he noticed that my IWC Top Gun was a fake when he looked at the movement. No problem for him but he just couldn't give me any warranty on his work.

I'm wondering if there are any replica watches that can even fool a watchsmith? What are the tells for a watchsmith that's it's a replica? Is it the quality and finish of the movement or more?

I don't see why it's not possible but I read some where -although im not sure- that's not possible.

The stock crystal sucks. Would be awesome to have a more gen like crystal in it.

I want to warn you for the crystal issue many ultimate SD have! The glass is put in too high and you can notice the sanding finish.

I had similar thoughts and ended up going for a BK modded version. Am very very happy.

Yes it's pretty ridiculous paying almost 2 times more for a 2836 but that's because it's decorated 3135. The 2813 sucks indeed and it's low beat.. stay away from it.

The only available sub worth buying is going to be a bk sub or TC sub. Wm9 is no more unless you find one used. Contact TC or bk using the search feature and pm him.

I saved up some money and I would like to spent it on a new Rolex. I like both the Sea Dweller and Sub (no LV) and want to spent about 400-500 bucks. I know TC Sub is very good but I also read good things about WM9 and BK. Unfortunately I actually don't know what BK and WM9 offer in detail. The WM9 V2 looks very, very nice but what's the price range and how is this one compared to the TC Sub?

Anyway, I would like to get some advise on buying a Sub or Sea Dweller. Which are the best bang for the buck? I don't want to spent so much on a gen insert and pearl.

I don't know. I'm not really a Rolex expert but the hands are terrible. So I'm looking for one with nice hands and improved pearl.

I already ordered the TC bracelet and have a WM pearl in house. But I think this new pearl is even better then the WM pear, no?

I'm curious who recently ordered the ultimate Sea Dweller and what you actually got. I ordered my first ult SD from Andrew for $128 but I was not satisfied with the crappy movement and sold it. But imo Andrew asks way to much for the Asian 2836 version.. $120 more for a movement which only costs 60 bucks or something.

So I ordered the Asian 2836 ult SD from Trevor for 178 bucks. I got the QC pictures and noticed the pearl has improved significantly. Unfortunately the hands are very poor and Trevor couldn't get a better one. He sent me pictures of 2 others and those were even worse. Got refund.

So I'm curious if there are more people that recently ordered an ultimate SD and how the pearl and HE is. Is there a newer V3 version?

Don't feel that Andrew is ripping you off d, if you have a problem with a watch he has supplied he will be onto it straight away, not all dealers are the same That sounds as if I'm slating Trevor off but I'm not far from it they are both good dealers and both TD on this forum too.

2813 is crap because it gains 3min a day, lot of rotor noise, and bad second hand sweep..

I do have to say, the SLSD dial an hands in an SSD case is a lethal combination

Strange detail here.. Angus offers it with the gold superclone movement while Andrew only offers 3135 wanna-b movements.

Thats what I thought... Really strange that Andrew asks so much for the same watch.

I already have the $128 2813 rep. It's great but the movement sucks. That's why I want a better one.
