  1. Thanks TomHorn, I'm scouring the for sale section. I should have said, I have a $700 limit for each watch and want them ready made. Which is the best replica site for complete watches? Have had bits of Phong before but these will be ones I can afford to lose on holiday as opposed to the Phong stuff which I can't.
  2. Where can I find the best pro hunter replica? Really appreciate any info. I want to build up a big collection and then start making them all water resistant
  3. I'm looking for a few Daytona replicas. Where is the best place to buy ready made ones regardless of cost? I don't want a real one. I'm interested in 6263, 16520 and 116520 models. I did do a brief search or two of the site but couldn't find this info easily so if anybody has experience of these I would love to know.
  4. Thank you MSP! Specs are (forgive my poor memory LOL): Case off Ebay. Was 750 Euros. Genuine Dial that I got amazingly cheap on Ebay. 1200 Euros I think. Replica hands colored by me. Replica pushers from ... can't remember ... might have been Cousins. Genuine crown and tube. Genuine crystal. Genuine Valjoux that had seen better days to be honest. Genuine NOS bracelet that again was cheap on Ebay. Weird the way bargains sometimes turn up on such a huge marketplace. Replica bezel insert. Genuine bezel which was amazingly cheap too. Think it was about 400 Euros. Okay so not a cheap build but I enjoyed it and sold it at a sizeable profit. The only downer? I wish I hadn't sold it
  5. I re-lume but wouldn't touch Tritium paste. Not worth the risk, even for danger money. Tubes are different of course.
  6. Hope you like! Thought I'd share some pics of the watches I've made.
  7. How did this turn out? I was going to use stainless solder but am just worried about the longterm affect of any flux residue. Is there likely to be any residue? How did you get on?
  8. Phong's and Yuki's have fixed bars. Not worried about the cost too much tho' sadly a real 5517 is out of the question Looking like Phong's case at the moment.
  9. That is interesting. Thank you Lloyd. I have bought off Phong before. I am happy with $1500 if it is exceptional. Interesting about the 5513 case. There is one on Ebay right now!
  10. Does anybody know whose case is best out of Yukiwatch, JewelleryAndWatch and NDTrading?
  11. LOL okay looks like an MBW case is out. Probably way too expensive anyway if Phong's is $1500 andYukiwatch's is $750.
  12. Which is the next best after the MBW case? Not worried about price.
  13. Okay my head is now quite overloaded having read posts and looked at cases from NDTrading, JewelleryAndWatch, Yukiwatch etc. I want a PERFECT (almost) 5517 clone. I've settled on a NDT dial but ... Who makes the best case? Thanks in advance, Dom
  14. Just called my local AD about a new 78390 bracelet. They are £980 "but there is a price increase on March 1st". What a joke! The almost exact same bracelet for the Tudor Sub is "only" £450. I know it's quality stuff but £980 is beyond a joke for stainless steel. Or is it just me?
  15. Thanks for the reply ChefCook! Was that $3000 with pushers and bezel or just a bare case?
  16. Has anybody bought a genuine 4030 movement or bare 16520 case for their project? How much should I expect to pay?
  17. This should help: http://www.cousinsuk.com/PDF/products/4139_RolexGenericChronographPushersDiagramNew_Redacted.pdf As far as I know, the only difference is the value of "X" shown in the diagram.
  18. Thanks Valty! I had been looking for ages for some good ones. The guy reckons he can make any part. He is sending me a bezel too.
  19. Nope I'm just new Currently building a 16520. Was going to chrome plate some gold 16523 pushers but then found these. I'll post some pics when they arrive.
  20. 16520 Pushers are available here: http://www.googlestores.cn/Daytona-pushers-24-P302-0.html $40 each. Just ordered some so will let you know what they are like.
