  1. For the Daytonas, I'd say search the for sale section for frankens if money isn't an issue.

You can try to go to Spinmaster or Phong (www.jewelryandwatch.com) for the 6263. The modern Daytonas from the dealers all suffer from the dreaded seconds at 6 issue and are best avoided.

Thanks TomHorn, I'm scouring the for sale section. I should have said, I have a $700 limit for each watch and want them ready made. Which is the best replica site for complete watches? Have had bits of Phong before but these will be ones I can afford to lose on holiday as opposed to the Phong stuff which I can't.

  2. I'm looking for a few Daytona replicas. Where is the best place to buy ready made ones regardless of cost? I don't want a real one.

    I'm interested in 6263, 16520 and 116520 models.

I did do a brief search or two of the site but couldn't find this info easily so if anybody has experience of these I would love to know.

  3. Love it ! Specs? :)

    Thank you MSP!

Specs are (forgive my poor memory LOL):

Case off Ebay. Was 750 Euros.

Genuine Dial that I got amazingly cheap on Ebay. 1200 Euros I think.

    Replica hands colored by me.

Replica pushers from ... can't remember ... might have been Cousins.

    Genuine crown and tube.

    Genuine crystal.

Genuine Valjoux that had seen better days to be honest.

Genuine NOS bracelet that again was cheap on Ebay. Weird the way bargains sometimes turn up on such a huge marketplace.

    Replica bezel insert.

Genuine bezel which was amazingly cheap too. Think it was about 400 Euros.

Okay so not a cheap build but I enjoyed it and sold it at a sizeable profit.

The only downer? I wish I hadn't sold it :)

  4. MBWs are a little hard to find. They do come up in the sales forums as complete watches from time to time. Just keep your eyes on all three of the sales forums... seems to be four or five sell every three or four weeks. There's a dealer called Narikka that can source the new ones. I bought all of mine used through the forums. Your going to have to do some mods to any case you buy. 5517 has solid fixed bars. Yuki has dials and hands I believe. A cheaper option is Josh's 5513 as a base watch, you can buy those for 127$.

Phong's and Yuki's have fixed bars. Not worried about the cost too much tho' sadly a real 5517 is out of the question :)

Looking like Phong's case at the moment.

  5. The MBW is close but not perfect. The jewelry and watch case is supposed to be the best of the replicas.

How much do you want to spend? The BEST would be a gen 5513 case that you re-engrave and drill the lugs.

That is interesting. Thank you Lloyd. I have bought off Phong before. I am happy with $1500 if it is exceptional. Interesting about the 5513 case. There is one on Ebay right now!

  6. Not to sound like a n00b. (Though I totally am one.)

What is the MBW case? I've looked around the forum and have never really found a simple answer.

Is MBW a person? Is it just a 5513 super case or are there lots of different MBW cases? I take it from the tones of hushed reverence used when speaking of it that it's no longer available.

LOL okay looks like an MBW case is out. Probably way too expensive anyway if Phong's is $1500 andYukiwatch's is $750.

  7. One post, one link... Spam ? :)

Indeed, the pushers looks great on the web site

But, we have no review from this dealer, and simply don't know if we can trust, or not.

Nope I'm just new :) Currently building a 16520. Was going to chrome plate some gold 16523 pushers but then found these. I'll post some pics when they arrive.
