  1. Thanks for the heads up. I checked the sales area and came up dry. I called into Ofrei as well and they did not have any eta 2824's in stock. Ebays selection is slim, did find a 2824 but the date wheel was at 6pm instead of 3pm where I need it.
  2. Hey Guys, I am building my first watch and I would like to know I would be able to pick up a ETA 2824. I have the case, dial, hands and bracelet that fit this movement. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
  3. Just ordered from Josh last month. My Package sat in customs at LAX for a day and then it was handed over to usps for delivery to my door, Hope yours makes it out soon
  4. I would say so. Did you find the Ulitmate planet ocean on Trevors website you linked? That is the one you want to buy. Might as well spend the extra $100 right now then to buy it later. You can lessen the price by chossing a differnt movement, By choosign the asian movement over the swiss ETA you can save a good chunck on the Ultimate planet ocean.
  5. Its a good starter PO for someone or a Daily beater. The Ultimate planet ocean is what you should be looking at if you are wanting the best one. It runs for $300 but totally worth it. The one you linked has the happy feet on the Omega symbol on the dial which is a dead give away. The HE valve is right on 10 o'clock which is not correct either.
  6. Looks to weird to me. Then again, I was never a fan of the SMP anyways always thought it was ugly. Now the original PO, thats a classic!
  7. You're welcome. Did you go through Trevor or Josh?
  8. Thanks seafoam, After being on this forum for a little I think I am going to open up the collection and add some AP's and IWC's to the list.
  9. Andrews Site is still up, you may have the wrong link. Here is the link. http://www.ttw168.com/ I just purchased from Perfect Clones, Joshua is a great dealer. The day I order to my front door was 10 days.
  10. No Prob Burg, Here are some shots, as you can see it still has the happy feet on the omega symbol. The movement is the Unitas 6498 handwind movement. The wristshot, I have rather small wrist,
  11. Will do, It took me a while to get that as well. I actually got it from a Local dealer out here in Cali. Took 3 months.
  12. Thanks Cougar, They make such horrbile reps of the Hour vision I decided to just buy the gen. I dont think the rep makers have even attempted the blue dial one but as we all know. Most blue dial reps are way off in the tone of blue. Redroom, If you look at the second to last pic on my origina post comparing the two planet oceans. The original one I purchased a while ago on the orange rubber strap has the happy feet on the omega symbol on the dial, then look to the new Ultimate planet ocean next to it and you will see there are no happy feet on the omega symbol on the dial. There is many things wrong with the old PO I have on rubber so I decided to get the UPO. HE have is completely wrong, the pearl sucks, the hour, minute and second hands are too short and the list goes on.
  13. I have never seen a good rep of those you just listed. You should check the trusted dealers on this website and see what AT there is.
  14. Thanks Burg, Slowly building a good collection. If it weren't for my Gen Hour vision I would say the breitling was the fav. It is a AT Small seconds 49.2mm. Its a big watch to wear but luckily not so bad do to how thin the watch is
  15. Here are the new reps that just arrived. Skyland Avenger and UPO 45.5. All from Joshua with great service Bracelet is a [censored] to size on the Skyland But a beautiful piece UPO 45.5, great rep that just perfect Family Photo Gen Omega Hour Vision Orbis Blue Old PO on rubber orange strap vs UPO. what a big differece. HE Valve, Happy Feet, Pearl ETC Thanks for lookin!
  16. I hope so, Thanks Panerai. Maybe ill be working from home this week to pick up the package.
  17. Got the update that items cleared customs (sigh of relief)
  18. Update again. Shows its in Customs. still waiting for that a status update
  19. Update, checked the tracking and it shows that my package arrived on Wedneday the 21st in Los Angeles. Hope it shows up tomorrow.
  20. Thanks for the Info guys. I am rarely home so if it comes to my door and I don't sign for it will I have to pick it up at the post office?
  21. Hi All, I have been lurking in the forums for some time and did some research. Ended up ordering from Joshua, A UPO and Breitling Skyland Avenger. I have done searches looking for information in regards to shipping from the dealers. My Questions. 1. In what manner do they usually ship the pieces to you and what are the customs issues? 2. When the package arrives, do you have to be home to sign for it or will they just leave it at your door? I am in California USA. any help appreciated.
  22. Hey All, I was checking Joshua's website and it shows that the ultimate 45.5 PO orange bezel that has the serial number engraved, no happy feet on logo and correct HE valve placement only comes with a rubber strap. He guided to me one on a bracelet but the happy feet bug me. Does anyone else have the ultimate 45.5 on bracelet? and if you do, where did you get it from?
  23. Thanks Pete, I will give that a try and report back.
