The rep's of the Hour vision have so many error's. They are no good super reps of this one. Its very hard for them to rep the 8500 movement. I actually purchased the genuine hour vision due to this error.

Hi All, A while Back I posted pictures of my DSSD rep that made love with my the lugs of my friends titanium bulova precisionist. Left a nice deep scratch on the Crystal. After testing out some ways to polish off plastic I figured out that the watch had a sapphire. I learned from a PAM forum on how this guy got the scratch out of his crystal Using Diamond paste 2.5 Micron and then 0.5 Micron to polish it off. Let me tell you, the crystal is so smooth and glossy now. Here is the pic of the original scratch. Deep ones at hour marker 4 Heres the tape off and the diamond paste arriving Diamond paste application Self grinding diamond paste by hand with a cloth, did this for 30 minutes Now, the lighter scratches did come out, but the rest were tough, I ended up getting a dremel with a polishing tip and give it a whack. And it worked! This diamond paste can be had for about $6/tube which is about 5 grams per tube.

I would have to saw my Deville hour vision gen keeps the best time. Co-Axial 8500 movement has been running for the last four days at +-0 per day.

I love this watch. This is such a great rep. The only thing holding me back from buying this is the thickness of the watch. I like my dress watches on straps to slip under my cuff easily.

I don't think this one has been rep'd too often. But the one you have posted is just terrible. That Pearl is just so wrong along with the numerals and date wheel. I don't think they will do a good job as the 8500 movement is going to be hard for them to replicate, its a gorgeous movement, I have it in my deville hour vision 8500 and that's the down fall to the reps.

I believe you can buy it from Ofrei., I have the V5 45.5 PO and so far no issues with crown

Looks good. Pearl placement on the 45.5 UPO's always have been crap.

Post them up when you get the QC photos. It would be good to see what a new dealer can do!

Damn thats not good news to hear, glad I got my orange UPO 45m last month while supplies lasted. Curious to see what the ceramics will look like though.

panerai, thanks for the info. I will check that out for sure. Do you know if there is a difference between the 2824 and 2824-2? I keep seeing both pop up on my searches for that movement. The person who sold me the case said that it is for 2824 and not 2824-2.

Thanks Mellons, I will have to check out that movement. Is it a model match? I know that if you are putting a watch together every mm counts. btw what does iir mean? Thanks Sneed, do they make a seperate date wheel for the 2824 that I can swap out? Thanks, Ill have to check that out. I am not sure if the SW200 will fit.

The case I have is 40mm Rolex Submariner Homage. Its got the movement holder, not sure how big the movement is but it says eta 2824 will fit perfectly. Let me know if you ahve the one with a date wheel and we can go from there. Thanks again
