  1. Hey, it's a cool watch!

Just imagine - you wearing the gen piece and driving up in front of a nice restaurant with an old Volkswagen beetle cabrio, worn out jeans and a t-shirt.

Noone would know if the watch is for real and you just "have style" (and tons of money) or if it's a fake.

    ;)

  2. Today I recieved my ordered one (Sead) and as long year wearing a gen one the main points immediately popping out are:

    - crystal too high and angled wrong

    - crown not closing close enough to case

    - bracelet too worn out + having Sub typical 1/2 link

    - fit of the He-V a bit rough

    - pearl lume reaching too fat above the surrounding

So I'll have my watchmaker screw in the tube a little more and replace the crystal - if possible - by a Sternkreutz one...

For anyone not knowing the watch in details only crystal and crown would pop out.

  3. The trick to be comfortable on the riv-expanding bracelets is that they should fit without a lot of expanding and then only adjust e.g. to a little swollen wrist.

And of course the mid links have to be bent fully closed and not as seen on many been left open as hair catching tweezers...

  4. When wearing a gen 2003 ExII on a white Nato a friend of mine said once "if i wouldn't know you and the kind of watches you wear, for me this watch could be a $20 discounter one".

That's why I like the ExII, the people don't recognise it as Rolex.

    Same for the ExI...
