  1. The vendor is phenomenal. His name is Tony. His info is on the website. You can directly chat with him. I paid and he shipped same day. I've noticed some rep watch dealers advertising these for about twice as much as what Tony is asking...Shipping is expensive though if you want the packaging because the boxes are pretty heavy. You can save on shipping if you just take the goods & not the box.
  2. A member tried creating some background noise and said he didn't believe the sound canceling worked.....Another member mentioned they tried the GENUINE studios at an airport store once and he said they were pretty crappy compared to the Bose that was on display next to it.
  3. Hmm..sorry about that...I copied/pasted...I went back and edited....hopefully it links you directly...
  4. Hey Mike...yup its Dave...I wish I did a better job with the video...I just randomly did it quick since I wasn't in the mood to snap pics. Is there anything the Chinese cannot rep? Its crazy
  5. Guys, I just watch the youtube vid I made for you guys featuring my replica beats, and I'm a retard. Within the first couple of minutes I try to show off my AP ROO Black Themes and its not even in the screen...LOL... I was using a low tech Kodak Zi8 personal camcorder. I also realized the lighting was crap and you can't see a lot of things...but after watching it I wasn't in the mood to do it all over again, so my apologies if my video is annoying. I've been listening to the Studios & Pro non stop and they sound fantastic. I was thinking of trying to record the sound through my Kodak, but I don't think it would do it any justice. These headphones are the real deal. I'm not the person to ask about audio qualities. To me they sound fantastic but I'm not an audiophile. The Detox are heavier than the Studios and tighter so can become uncomfortable for some. The Studios need batteries and they sound awesome. I purchased them from here after hearing about it from some other guys. http://www.yameidahk.com Here you go guys...Enjoy! (even though it sucks)
  6. @K: I've got about 14, trying to reduce it to about 9 (the ones listed in my signature); I'm pretty sure one of these passed through hands before it got to me @R: same to you buddy! i've always been impressed with your watches over the years big chunk of my life has been on these forums
  7. So I was going through my photo album and I was shocked because I didn't even remember some reps that I used to own. The cool thing is each one of them has a story and a history. Almost all were bought from other members from TRC, RWI, RWG, RG.... I've been on the forums since 2005 and I've gone through a lot of watches and I've been through a lot in life. During this period I went from working on Wall St....getting married....getting divorced....walking out of my career and starting medical school at the age of 35... Some of you guys have been with me all throughout...These watches have seen it all as well... The sucky thing was that she got all the dogs in the divorce... I let her have whatever she wanted because I wanted it over and outta there as quick as possible. Man...was I miserable back then...all I could think about was ESCAPE..... These aren't all the watches because I think I used to use a different photo site before I discovered Photobucket. But here are a few

  9. I know Chief! Thats the dilemma...do I let this one go and pick up a Diver which has the same color combo...I can't rationalize keeping both
  10. That is a beautiful combo....don't listen to the naysayers Brown & blue is a wonderful combo....
  11. So many models coming out for AP.... The black themes is an oldie...but still a goodie... The diver has a black dial as well...so I'm thinking about swapping the black themes for a diver? Can't decide. Keep going back and forth on it
  12. I've got an IWC deployment on it right now because I can't find a 18mm Breitling deployment. If anyone has one please hit me up so I can have a complete watch
  13. are there new parts (CGs, crowns, etc) that I could do to improve on my 112? No...its not an OEM strap...
  14. Thanks Red I just don't know how much the base PAMs have evolved...
  15. Hey guys... I'm bit of an old-schooler that has been away from the hobby for a while. I've dabbled here -n- there while in med school but not in that serious way that I used to and I have no idea about all these new super PAMs. I used to be on top of all the new PAM reps...but not anymore. Is it time to retire my 112 sausage dial? It has the old school swiss 6497 with engravements + dagger. Or will I be embarrassing myself during the WRISTCHECKS...LOL...
  16. Hi if the IWC box is still available let me know. i'm in New Jersey

  17. Just wondering if there has been any developments....
  18. strapluxe makes one as well...i have the black w. white stiching...
  19. Hey guys... I'm getting bored with the bracelet...Has anyone been able to swap to a strap?
  20. The watch is from DW. Its from a year back. I hope some experts can chime in on this. Its been a while and so some of my knowledge is forgotten. Essentially my intention was to do a Valjoux swap at some point. So I needed one that would house the movement, ie subdial spacing... This one is a manual wound, from an unknown swiss company from the 1970s. This is what was told to me. I believe it can house a Valjoux 23 or 72? The caseback is correctly engraved as well as the inner caseback is engraved. I didn't want to go the modified A7750 route --> manual wind, since experts told me that it caused a lot of wear/tear when you wind it. I do have to admit that whatever NOS movement this is it feels great. It feels robust when I'm winding it...if that makes sense... Any experts have some insight on my watch? Is anything I'm saying make sense... LOL ..
  21. Hi O. Its good to see some other old timers as well...I know I either sold you something or bought something from you...Your avatar is too recognizable...
  22. Ahh...its good to see you Dave...How's the rep world these days...its been a long time...Trouble still following you
  23. I've been away for school and been off the boards for a while. I'm about to take my first licensing exams and getting ready for clinical rotations. I'm suppose to be studying, but I'm taking a break and just got back to looking at the forum. I may make a purchase...lol...its been a while...not sure how much have changed... I don't have my proper photo tent so just took some quick and dirty shots of this watch. Its definitely been one of my favorites. Sorry for the poor pics and smudges and such. The dial/hands were vaclumed.... If I wanted to be more authentic I should of done a tritium aged look, but opted for the bright vaclume because of ease of getting it done. The CG is sort of old school....if you've been around the past couple years...you'd know it as a 'V' CG...Tight lever...the whole watch feels high quality....I've had a lot of modded PAMs but this one became my favorite. It needs a better crown, but I was in a rush to build it and used a crown that would involve the least issues with the tube as well as I didn't want to grind down the 'V' CG because at the time I was considering using it on another watch and didn't want to commit the V CG to this particular watch. I've just worn it like this since. I still love it. When I get home from school and have some time, I'll do a review with comparison of the real deal. I still need to finish my ETA 063 as well as my ETA 196... I intermingled some gen pics for fun....the last 3 pics... Some scratches for authenticity....Not bad for a $35K watch
