Hey guys, When I first started collecting 6-7 years ago I was absolutely PAM crazy. Then I took a break from reps when I began med school and my knowledge base has deteriorated as I fell in love with other brands. Are the 'V' CGs any good anymore compared to what's out there now? Should I use them for a 111/112/005 or are there better alternatives out there? Would it be better to just purchase one of the newest versions out of box? Also how are these casebacks?

Just got this back from Vac and once again he does FANTASTIC work. I wasn't able to get a good head on shot because of the massive reflection from the crystal. It has a Lello DW, T48 crown, Sead CG and of course an ETA 2893 that comes with the Honpos with decorated movement. After posting the pics I just realized the pin in CG is raised, so I took some tools out and flushed that with the CG and now it looks perfect The CG lever is nice and tight. The lume of course is ridiculous. Definitely the nicest PAM I've ever owned and I've owned a lot over the years. Its a joy to wear. The last 5 pictures are of a gen 063.

I sent off some stuff to a modder on Dec. 21st via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. Usually, it'll get scanned in Fort Lee, NJ....then that night it'll say that it got scanned at Kearny, NJ Sorting Facility....and then it'll arrive at its destination and get scanned. I'm paranoid that my package got snatched in Kearny because my delivery confirmation number only has an acceptance scan for Fort Lee and nothing else since Dec. 21st. Anyone else have Priority Mail go awry with a happy ending? Because I am stressed

I'm not sure if I'm digging the look of the hornback on diver. Rubber strap or hornback, guys? ALSO...how do you guys do lume shots? Am I the only idiot that holds his watch up to a lightbulb and then like an Olympic spinter runs into the closet trying to snap a picture?

I think they're great out of the box. I have some that are modded and some that aren't and I enjoy them all. The rep leather strap is going to suck big time, so order it with a rubber strap. Its a much better strap and then go and buy an aftermarket strap from HKTan, AP Bands, or Donerix. Donerix has the best price out of those 3.
