Ok - looking to add a cyclops to two of my watches. I know most sellers on ebay, Ofrei, etc will sell cyclops that says "2.5" mag, but does anyone have a great source on true 2.5 mags?

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah, yess, see what you mean
Ha ha ha...too funny.
Congrats Sixx. Cant wait to see the pics.

People who post reps on the gen forums are probably the same ones that wear their reps to the AD and then posts a thread - "Hey, I fooled a rep at the AD while wearing my noob sub with shaved CGs."
-
Possibly

That GMT looks awfully familiar.

Just as the title says - how can one remove the engravings from the rehault? Sandpaper?
-
Its a mid-size watch - thus no lume at 3. Its a gen.

I think you just outbid me for that dial on the Bay man!!
Sounds really nice what you have done with it so far!!

Thanks BT. Updated with the correct model name.

Gotta post pics - step by step.

Got around fixing a 42mm SuperOcean.
Some details:
- Case was originally from a rep Colt GMT. When cleaning the dial, the dial print was getting removed. Therefore, no longer of use.
- Dial is gen. Scored this one brand new off of ebay. (Dial & Hand set).
- Couldn't for some reason, get the gen hands to fit a 2824 movement. Therefore, resorted to a high beat asian movement w/spare set of SFSO hands.
- Crystal is still a work in progress - needs Chief's A/R treatment.
Overall, so far, pleased with the watch. Quick pics.

My Franken Steelfish 42mm (need to get my crystal Chief's A/R).

Working with DVN offline to capture additional info. Will then call my cousin who is a Milwaukee police officer to see if he can assist. BTW - my cousin is a hard-ass (in a good way), so if he can do something, believe me, he will.
Ill keep ya updated.
-
Make sure it has A/R. I ordered one a year or so ago and it came without any AR. They gave me a $15 refund.

DVN-
Call the local police. Each police station should have a fraud department.
BTW - My cousin is a Milwaukee cop. Ill give him a ring and see what he can do.

Problem is that the reference number that I used on TNT Post does not show on USPS website. the REference number begins with nr, but on TNT POst - it will just ask for the bar code (numbers excluding the nr). When i called USPS, they said that usually, the tracking number will end with the country code.

Is that from the Netherlands to the US?
-
Anyone from the Netherlands who have shipped to the US or has anyone from the US received a watch from a member from the Netherlands?
-
I used https://securepostplaza.tntpost.nl/tracktrace/ which gave me info that it left the Netherlands....but how to track it once it lands here in the US?
-
I know that this is an old post - but wanted to post a quick question regarding shipping to the US.
Bought a watch and the watch was sent from the Netherlands via TNT Post and shipped on on Feb 10th. How do I track TNT Post within the US? USPS.com? I tried USPS and nothing shows up.
Any insight on to what I can use?
