So I've been trying to get acquainted with terminology and movement types, etc, and have seen multiple things about setting the date on a replica Rolex and what not to do. I just order my first rep, a Submariner, and need to know if there is anything special I need to do to set the date? I'm assuming I just wind the time setting screw forward until the date is correct? What's with all this talk about not setting the date between 8pm and midnight? So confused....I know jack crap about automatic watches. Sorry for the dumb question but like I said, this is my first rep, and I don't want to mess something up.

Hello all, After browsing this site for awhile I decided to join in on the fun. I have always had a love of watches from an aesthetic standpoint but am relatively new to the replica game. In any case after much review I just ordered a handful of watches from Silix Prime to get my feet wet. So far everything has gone great and I'm just waiting to receive the watches. I'm a little sketchy on all the terminiology and who's who of watchmakers, but I'm sure in time I'll get a better grasp. Go easy if I ask any dumb questions! MJG
